The Barelvis are mostly Punjabis.This is not an Afghan/Pashtun problem.

This is not so anymore. The Barelvis (as Qadris) have opened up shop (meaning masajid, madaris etc.) in all parts of Khyber as well as Balochistan so that now in our heartland areas such as Peshawar you would find Afghans (Both Pakistani and Afghanistani) studying this line of thought and becoming Qadris (Barelvis).

What I dont understand is why the hell would an Afghan student of Poltics get involved in these non issues while Afghans have so serious matters to face and resolve?

That is also something that I find painful. There are much more serious and important issues. I hope we discuss them not the less important/ useless ones.

Well...He blaimes Sufis and SHias for the Afghan mess and told me last year that he would accept the ISI rule of Law in disguise of Taliban Shariat.
