As salaamu alaikum wr wb!!!
Please read with an open mind...
Those who are open to reason get the guidance and better their lives, but those who have "eyes but can't see, and ears but can't hear" will wander in the wilderness of life forever.
No amount of logical reasoning will help them.
However, our job as Muslims, i.e., those who surrendered to Allah, is ONLY to convey the message to the darkest corners of the world.
Our job as Muslims is not to impose anything on disbelivers because as Allah says in Quran, "For you is your religion, and for them is theirs".
Every year, as summer nears, I get into gear to answer a lot of,
"Aren't you feeling hot??" or,
"How can you be dressed like that when it's 90 degrees outside? I would never do it if I didn't have to!"
or,
"Man, you should take all those clothes off in this heat, you're in 21st century now,
you don't have to dress like that anymore!"
Superstitious! Coward! Old fashioned! Are the words that still echoed in my head.
my face was soaked with warm drops that I had shed during the past couple of hours while I prostrated herself before the Almighty, time and again in this interval.
I did not know how long I had been up collecting and presenting before Allah the broken pieces of My soft heart which was brutally hurt by the ruthless comments my friends made at the college this morning.
I had always been kind to them but they would always pass low comments about my attire and for my fear and concern about the Hereafter.
my only crime was that I could not leave my head and chest uncovered like them and that I could not put on skin tight almost transparent garments. I had always found it hard to show interest in the topics they would discuss.
I knew that modesty was my real asse and that inner-purification was the real objective of my life in this world.
How could I go against the values that the Almighty had inculcated within myself?
How could I undertake to do something that myconscience would vehemently disapprove of?
"We all know that every precious thing is protected and covered like jewels and diamonds.
Similarly, Allah (swt) consider muslim women as precious as diamonds".
The beauty of a woman is not only in her physical features, but rather in her character, personality, and in her piety. A woman who is able to face the world with a smile and graciousness in the event of trials and struggles, and can stand tall knowing that she is working for a home in paradise, radiates a light and glow that cannot be hidden.
"We want to stop men from treating us like sex objects, as they have always done. We want them to ignore our appearance and to be attentive to our personalities and mind. We want them to take us seriously and treat us as equals and not just chase us around for our bodies and physical looks."
--A Muslim woman who covers her head is making a statement about her identity. Anyone who sees her will know that she is a Muslim and has a good moral character..
IN ISLAM, WOMEN ARE APPRECIATED FOR THEIR KNOWLEDGE, PIETY AND CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY.
Suppose two ladies… two twin sisters were equally beautiful - if they are walking down the street, and if round the corner there is a hooligan, who is waiting for a catch… who is waiting to tease a girl. Both twin sisters are walking, both are equally beautiful - one is in the Hijab… Islamic Hijab - one is wearing a mini or a skirt. Which girl will that hooligan tease? … Which girl will he tease? But natural, the one in the short or the mini girl. If a girl is wearing a normal salwar kameez, with her head open… may be the salwar kameez tight, and the other girl is wearing a Islamic Hijab - Which girl will he tease? But natural, the girl who is not in Hijab.
Every 1.3 minute, one woman is raped'
According to a report by the FBI in 1990, in the year 1990… `One thousand, two hundred & fifty five women were raped'.
It is practical proof, that Hijab is been ordained in Islam… not to degrade the woman, but to protect her modesty.
Why do some Muslim women cover up while others don't???
Even though many many muslims are not following the true teachings of islam but even then we musllims form the best society in the world today despite media propaganda,
we are the biggest community of teetotaler in the world,
we are the community who gives maximum charity,
we are the community which has alive family values,
we are the only community where woman are much more liberal and less oppressed compared with western societies where women are treated as a sexual tool! in the name of mistresses and pornography!
even today despite not following complete islam despite this the country who has the least crime rate is a muslim country Saudi arabia
the country who has the least rape rate is a muslim country!!
the country where any women can go out on the street alone wearing gold without the fear of being raped or kidnapped or robbed !
Notice how easy things become when you wear the hijab and how you feel safer leaving your home in the correct manner... notice how you don't feel shy to go up to someone and greet them... notice how people acknowledge you as a muslimah who is proud of who she is... notice that you are noticed...
not just as anyone, but as a servant of Allah.

A Muslima in Healthy Hijab is….
Respected- not laughed at
Purified- not sullied
Protected- not exposed
Obedient- not a sinner
Noble- not degraded
Libeated- not subjugated
Independent- not a slave
Dignified- not dishonoured
Confident- not insecure
A guarded pearl- not a prostitute...
She is…
Gorgeous but untouchable
Precious but unplayable
Fragile but unbreakable
Simple but unforgettable
And
shy but undaunted.
