  • Why should Muslims be the privileged people of the world?

One thing that I wonder about is, why should we Muslims be treated on equal basis in the non-Muslim world when we are not ready to extend the same right to the followers of other religions in Muslim countries/societies. An example would make this clear.

In every university accross North America, there is a Muslim Student Association and a mosque on the campus for prayers and other religious ceremonies. Do non-Muslims in Muslim countries have the same right or can ever imagine to get such rights e.g. Cathedrals or Sanegogues or places of worship for Hindus, etc. on campuses of universities?

Moreover, in most of the non-Muslim countries Muslims are allowed to build mosques and other religious places. Would followers of other religions dare do this in Muslim countries.

Right now in Muslim countries, non-Muslims have rights a little above sub-humans. They mostly live in ghetoes and have almost no civic rights.

Muslims of conscience and fair sense if they there are somewhere should comment on this.

Are you a self-hating muslim? Or are you just using this as a masquerade to peddle your ulterior agenda?

Instead of venting the "typical violent emotion", think rationally over this question. How come Muslims are not willing to grant non-Muslims religious rights (and other rights as well) in their societies but want full rights in non-Muslim countries.

Would not our acceptance of the rights of other people be helpful to spread our religiuon?

Can you name a Muslim country? even saudi isnt a muslim country, take it for an example..although it is inhabitted by muslims it doesnt have a muslim government, thers no such thing in islam as "pick and choose laws" either your 100% shariah or you havnt a muslim law system its as simple as that. further more, we dont live in countries were theres biblical laws or christian countrys with christian laws do we?? i wonder why people always pose this question but never ask why you can be arrested in Israel for displaying a cross?? are there any mosques or churches in Israel? are you allowed to say the azaan there or hold other religious practices apart from judaism??

First of all id like to mention there is christian associations in Malaysia,Indonesia,Bangladesh,Muslim parts of India, Jordan, Dubai, Lebanon and loads more, so this nullifies your claim. secoundly In present no so called muslim country impliments shariah correctly, if they did youd have muslims building synigogs and churches as they did in Mughal India, or Jeruselam under Umar, or Islamic Spain.

The same as how muslims are treated in Russia, China etc what do you have to say about that?

"Muslims of conscience and fair sense if they there are somewhere should comment on this"

I hope this answers your question

Simple answer. I am not a Salafi/Wahabi or follower of any other extremist Muslim thinking with the typical tendency to react violently to genuine but uneasy questions.

Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Are you a Muslim? You are the follower of a self-proclaimed prophet who is considered a quake and an imposter by the mainstream Mulsim community.

Is it with this logic you obtained your PhD? Pretty pathetic.

                  Which prophet did not self-proclaim?

Manzeray, the non-acceptance of the rights of non-Muslims in Muslim countries is not due to the non-existance of Islamic laws in these countries...It is rather the opposite i.e., the non-acceptance of even basic human rights to non-Muslims in Muslim societies is due to the injunctions of the strict interpretation of Islamic religion.

                          That wasn't simple.

Simple would be Yes "Khaibara, I am, or am not a muslim".

                          So what are you?

I saw the title of this thread, and I was expecting the poster to be MI6 aka proud Indian aka Maseed, but then I was not suprised when I noticed it was Toramana.

Whats with these continued attacks on Islam. WHo ever said that Muslims aren't supposed to treat people from different faiths equally???

Islam is what makes people strong. Nothing else does.
