  • Religious people more likely to be happy

I cannot speak for anyone else....but i have noticed when i pray all my prayers on time....i have a sense of...... hmmm.... happiness i guess you can say. I feel more pleased with myself, i feel lighter...it just feels right. I can also say, its a stress reliever. When praying and focusing on your duas, and not letting things get to you for that 5-10 minutes, it does feel good. Even when i am really not in a good mood or worried about something, i always do nafl prayers, and it helps

When your body is active such as doing exericse, your body releases endorphines which make you happy.

Every guys, your brain is the control centre, its where your happiness comes and goes, a lot of factors can contribute to make you feel happy and make you feel upset, I am sure a individual who lives in a Secular society would feel happy following their faith, but for example a Shia in Pakistan may not feel Happy through Religon because elements of his faith consider him/her to not Muslim.

Its all about how the Mind works.
Are you discrediting the remembrance of Allah?
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.
