I don't know what to say about this thread in general.

But in Pashtu we have a saying "Kaarwan ba tereezhee aw spee ba ghapee". No matter who made that video, its is only a reflective of their selves only and their pitty state. That doesn't do nor can take away anything from Pashtuns, abosutely nothing. There is nothing to get angry and nor respond to it, no need to bring the level down.

Pashtuns have also made similar videos and they don't represent us. Our problems will not get solved through similar method. Pashtuns in Afghanistan in particular have responsibility of being the guardians of their land and its all people, and should seek things through the profound sense of the aforementioned responsibilty. Don't let pitty emotions play with your mind, be cool and level-headed and have the warm heart. Good days are coming our way, inshallah. Prepare yourself for a bigger battle of self betterment and advancing your country, accomplish something of true value and treasure and wealth for yourself and next generation. Re-establish THE AFGHAN PRIDE.

Don't bother yourselves with these videos.

          Parsiwan,

I honestly don't know if by definition I could argue whether that does represent Paksitani culture or not, you could say yes or no. Pashtuns of Pashtunkhwa should be concious because it is done in their name, that is what concerns me and it is bothersome. From what I know these women are from Panjab, these videos go through all stages of its contruction in Lahore and then is dumped in Pashtunkhwa.

Probably, you didn't listen to the person doing the commentry in the background, he is obviously a Parsiwan unable to pronounce "d" and "t" properly. You may try hard with your craftiness to twist it around but the fact is glaringly obvious from the video.

              Toramana,

He hasn't made the video, and its worth respecting that he in clear terms disassociating himself from it and is simultaneously advocating peace and love with his Pashtun brothers and a united strong Afghanistan. Hold him accountable for that.

ComradePashtun, I am not saying he literally made the video. But you know it very well who as a group hold such views of Pashtuns, translate such views into political policy by making it a cultural rallying point, and are usually the first offenders. Rest, you are sure this person or the group he is representing is sincre and want the type of Afghanistan you are dreaming of, go ahead fuse with him/them as much as you can. Believe me, if ComradePashtun or any other Pashtun(s) of Afghanistan want the cherished dream of Afghan unity realised, I am no one to block it and it doesn't bother me a bit where do I, the Pashtun of Pakhtunkhwa, stands.

                    Toramana,

Brother I understand your concerns. Seriously, we are alahmdulilah not that vulnerable, and what others do shouldn't restrain us from what we want and what is in our interest. People who lack standard and who cannot equal you would only do what is on display for you. Do you get what I am saying? And lets not broad brush too. Chavunism taught the perpetrators a life time lesson and a humiliation they will never forget. If I was one of those perpetrators and I continue with my folly, then I should worry. History repeats itself. Afghan Pashtuns don't forget their enemies and it's better to be their friends than enemies.

Think of the bigger picture and long term, which many fail badly to do. Only through stronger and consolidated Afghansitan and no distraction our dreams can merge and come true. I know you are clever person, I sincerely have alot of respect for you. Aqelaano ta ishara pa kar da.

Let us be clear (no need to be in denial). We the Pashtunkhwa Pashtuns may have such kind of people in our midst but then no society then is monolithic as for as cultural values are concerned. This is so more true of Parswanans, Tajaks, Iranians, etc. where you would find more diversity in terms of profession (from *****s to highly accomplished people), cultural tastes, social values, etc.

ComradePashtun, instead of scarcastic explaination of how might that video have come up on behalf of Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa, you should say a reply to the kind of caharacterization that your Parswan buddies make of you. Why not say a rejoinder to the Kite Runner or the Thousand Splendid Sons? It is like pouring a cain of karcol on someone.
