  • Iran Said to Give Top Karzai Aide Cash by Bagful

And who exactly were these official who are making these claims, and one should also question their own virtue. Probably some multiple agent. Oh, a former official it was? Hmmm that is what happens when they get the sack. And most probably in foreign ministry.. since there are few who lost their jobs and since then the are blasting themselves with the least opportunity provided. Loosers. The same people would also accuse Karzai for being Talib, a covert Talib, Taliban supporter etc. which would contridict this wouldn't it.

If any one is to be blamed for Iran's free hand, it squarely falls on Americans and only them.

And what Iranian influence are the American officials really worried about?

And about "their lethal capability and presence inside Afghanistan" and in particular "Kabul" -- and is that Daudzai and Karzai's fault you sucker yankees? And what is exactly the nature of that lethal capability.

And oh, the glee with which Iran was praised for being present in the conference by the same OFFICIALS.

    frofagand. BS.

      Shlombay,

Why is the U.S. all of a suden worried about Iranian influence when they themselve have been openly advocating it and some would argue have tacitlly been providing the condition for it. Why do they praise Iran? And the very deadly capability and presence they have managed to gain is not through the presidential palaca, be it through Daudzai or Karzai. So how have they managed that? They can even arrange mass protests against U.S. which causes agitation against Karzai govt too. So Iran's presence and capability that should really concern Americans:

      1- Iran has developed links with the insurgency and is actively providing support, be it in form of weapons or even military training;

      2- The longstanding pro-Iranian groups i.e. Hezb e Whdat, Setamis and N.A.

Americans are welcome to deal with the problem in both instances. If they want confrantation with Iran over its influence, they should the least lead the choir, and they wont be disappointed.

Karzai's relation with Iran is just keeping things balance as much as he can due to the reality of the circumstances, that Americans are well aware of it. So why don't they seek direct confrontation with Iran than what I see as a media smear against Karzai?

There is strategic saying, the first thing you do in your confrontation against a potential adversary, is to disrupt his alliances. I am not saying that this NYTimes bull crap is true or there might be indeed a issue between the U.S. and Karzai. Unless NYTimes represent the official U.S. admin in which case, I would argue what I have. Get that you yankee? j/k toking.

How have the U.S. layed the ground for Iranian influence? Through dispropotionately increading or aggrandizing the presence pro-Iranian political entities, from civil bureucracy to the security; military, police, and secrete services. If you don't know this than you know nothing, man. So who are Whadat party, Setamis etc.?

So what does Karzai do with those millions; buy IEDs and plant them to blow up Americans?

You are wrong that Americans are not stupid, this article was clearly written by a stupid American.

The very (appears to be) pro-Iranian mouthpiece Tolo televesion is poured in with millions of official U.S. money.

Iran is not an enemy, this is not a wise thing to say, Shlombay Khan.

And I really didn't get your last reply.

And you appear to be more loyal to U.S. than defending your Pashtun president. How sad. lol

And this could also be the work of anti Karzai muppits in Andullah's camp etc. and the reporter was happy to write something yet more thrilling to come from Afghanistan.

Fair enough, Shlombay. I don't blame you for your views, he has been weak to some extend and you can hold Ahmed Wali's controvercial role in Kandahar against him. He is personally not corrupt nor self-serving. Afghan politics is dirty and you cannot remain clean.

I quote you " I have said this before and I will say it again, as an American, I will never hesitate in joining the FBI or CIA to work against ISI or Iran." So when are you going to do this since you have declared both Pakistan and Iran? So what are you waiting for then?

So give me an answer and that way I will adduce an answer for you from your own reply. That is something you should be doing yourself before asking others.

Iran clearly has concerns regarding Afghanistan and the presence of foreign forces there which makes them nervous. And it is an open secrete, I have said this in my previous post, as you have mentioned that they are playing a negative role too. However, that negative role is there for a reason, not an inherent enimty with Afghans being projected in its foreign policy as you think. That is just as irrational as you think they want to take Herat away from us.lol

I am no fun of Iran, but it is no help for us to not reasonable and intelligently know our relation with Iran.

Why exactly don't they want to see stable Afghanistan, Shlombay?
