    Unknown,
Thanks for trying to REASON with these internet maniacs who go around snapping at the heels of anyone who speaks wisely and uses the faculty of intelligence bestowed by Allah.

I haven't figured out either: are they Ossified Socialists still clinging to their completely discredited model ? They claim to be nationalists, but notice how they never look out for the good of the nation.

But only probably for their cherished dreams of ruling from Kabul themselves.
Hence, as is well known in psychology, they "Project" onto others what they wish for themselves.

There is a process of dissociation from not just what they are coveting but simply, estrangement from REALITY!

I tell you what! We should have a PF gathering located somewhere most people could travel to. I bet if we SAW who these opponents of God are face to face, we would find scruffy individuals, unkempt, emulating the anarchists of the last century. THEN all would become clear.

This Nokia guy proclaims in his signature that he "misses Masseed". Well aside from the catchy repetition of M and S, that spells out that he imust be in the same camp as all these guys. You weren't here but Maseed was a terrible troublemaker. Always attacking Islam and all of those who stood up for sensible politics.
Hence you may be better off NOT finding out what he said!

None of them are widely educated; likely would barely have a clue who is the Victorious Sultan Mehmet II of your avatar.

I observe the Conquest of Istanbul every year on its anniversary, May 29. 1453 is a favorite number of mine due to that. This is a cause for all Muslims and good peoples everywhere to feel proud of.

These critics have no interest in the Big Picture but whine away to divert all of our attention to their little squabbles with ISI. There are good generals from former ISI who they scoff at. These are some of the very few who are intent on getting Afghanistan restored to Pashtun Islamic rule. They should be praised for this, not vilified by the little-educated members of this Forum.

      Khyall -

Re Abdullah Abdullah, I barely paid the slightest attention to that useless election. I have more important things to focus my valuable time on, such as prayer, reading of eternal truths, not temporary worldly topics which will be gone with the wind tomorrow.

Sure enough, how many people are even thinking of A.A. by now?

I was thinking of Ashraf Ghani. So wrong name, right job!

If anything he sounds EVEN CLOSER to American politicians than EITHER of the other two.

"Dr. Ashraf Ghani, a senior fellow in foreign policy at the Brookings Institute in Washington D.C., and former finance minister, UN special advisor, and World Bank analyst, registered as a presidential candidate on May 7, 2009. At a time when many Afghans would prefer to lessen the appearance of ties to the U.S government, he had the distinction of hiring Clinton-campaign chief strategist James Carville as his campaign advisor. His close ties to Washington places him among those that Afghans consider to be "Zana-e-Bush", literally "Bush's wives". Ashraf Ghani has also been reported as the candidate most favoured by the U.S. for appointment to a "chief executive officer" position that the U.S. intends to insert regardless of the winner of the election"
      -from wikipedia

Glad Ashraf Ghani never got anywhere, hope he finds a nice retirement place in vermont in lieu of political involvement anywhere.

As for Karzai's fate, what about if he is exiled to Tasmania, where the Devils live...?

I know this man has been a sellout traitor & worse. Sk, though, if you wish him to have any bad disease, this thought could boomerang back to you. So to keep you in perfect untarnished good health forever, what about mentally envisioning him out there in the outback with kangaroos, koalas, and those little demons...>>>

Khorassani… I like your name...you are presenting the negative aspects of election…while shut your eyes on the positive aspect… what are the alternative to democracy? Mullah’s dictatorships, where Amir Momen gets assign for life..while getting legitimacy from his dream of prophet Mohmmad? Transition of power is the biggest weakest of Islam, even in its zenith caliphates and amirs were known to slather each other to gain power.. even Hazrat Ali and Ossman and rest were murdered cause of power….now if only those Muslims voted for there leader…BiBi Aisha would have not need to fight Hazart Ali...Abbassi would not need to take the death body of Amawis out of graves and burn it... or the inter fighting between brothers, cousins, uncles and...all for for power. Just study the blody study of Islamic rules.. even to this day.
Election is showing to people that they can refer their cases to election instead of referring their issues to Mullahs or dictators. Election is a trend and referring the issues to election is a big achievement by itself. I agree with you that the election in Afghanistan is in a very very bad situation but it is in its crawling stage. We need to give a chance till it starts to stand on its two feet and move maturely. It is much better than the other available options in Afghanistan.
Introduction of election concept by itself is a big achievement. Germany, Japan, US, and Europe did not reach where they are today overnight. It took them hundred of years. Afghanistan will get better with elapse of time.
