• USA Must Quit Afghanistan Now

Salman Rushdie
, Bin Laden, Ershad Manji, Ayaan Hirshi Ali, Norma Khouri, 50% Mosque Spaces For Women, Tanvir Ahmed, 72 Virgins to Nothing, Muslim Women Priests, Actual Australian Muslim Virgin,Meal Ticket in Germany, Monica Ali, Burqa, Bushfire, Dog, … all are carefully crafted and nurtured "accelerants" to create bushfires around the world between various sex, race, religion and people. Corporate governments of USA and Europe used to aid and abet religious extremists to counter nationalist secular movements around the world!

The Taliban and al-Qaida are a few groups biting them back and they do not have any relationship between any race and religion.

On September 27, 2001, the FBI released photos of the 19 hijackers, along with information about the possible nationalities and aliases of many.[85]Fifteen of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt (Atta), and one from Lebanon.[86]

15 of the alleged 19 “hijackers” were from US backed Saudi Arabia and none from Afghanistan!

On October 7, the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan offered to "detain bin Laden and try him under Islamic law" if the United States made a formal request and presented the Taliban with evidence. The U.S. rejected this offer as insufficient.
[41]

On October 14 the Taliban offered to discuss handing over Osama bin Laden to a neutral country in return for a bombing halt, but only if the Taliban were given evidence of Bin Laden's involvement
.[46] The U.S. rejected this offer as a public relations ploy and continued military operations.

However, ten years of maiming and murdering innocent civilians, destroying nature and environment due to congenital prejudice and bigotry of the Zionised and robotic Americans, today, almost everyone have turned against them!

Therefore, the Americans must quit Afghanistan with proper apology and compensation without any delay whatsoever.

The abject failure of USA in Afghanistan from the beginning to end are due to a series of monumental failures of US strategies, tactics and arrogance impregnated with prejudice and bigotry. No one can blame any race or religion for their own wrong deeds!

US admits blame for civilian death

US admits blame for civilian deaths

A US drone attack which left 23 Afghan civilians dead when they were mistaken for Taliban fighters occurred due to the "unprofessional" approach of the soldiers involved, an internal military report has found.
The civilians died on February 21 in Uruzgan province when three vehicles were hit by Hellfire missiles fired from a drone on the orders of a special forces commander on the ground.
The report into the incident, released on Saturday, concluded that remote drone pilots, operating from Nevada, USA, provided "inaccurate and unprofessional reporting ... which deprived the ground force commander of vital information".
"The strike occurred because the ground force commander lacked a clear understanding of who was in the vehicles, the location, direction of travel and likely course of action of the vehicles," the report said.
"Information that the convoy was anything other than an attacking force was ignored or downplayed by the Predator crew."
Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid, reporting from Kabul, said people across the country were extremely angry at civilian deaths caused by foreign forces.
"I don’t know how much this information, three months after the event, will help," she said.
"Certainly people will be glad to have an admission of guilt, but these things happen again and again. On a national scale, I don't know how much of an impact it will have."
Children ignored

The report paints a damning picture of miscommunication in the hours leading up to the strike, compounded by "poorly functioning" command posts that "failed to properly analyse the situation".
The investigation reveals how the drone operators saw children near the convoy, but went ahead with the strike regardless.
"Two children were spotted near the vehicles, but inaccurate reporting from the crew of the unmanned Predator aircraft to the forces on the ground led the Operational Detachment Alpha [the special forces unit] to believe that the vehicles contained only armed military age males."
The US military said that it was planning to improve its training to avoid further civilian deaths in the country. Four officers had been reprimaded as a result of the findings.
"We must always be honest with ourselves about what we do well and what we can do better," General Stanley McCrystal, the commander of US forces in Afghanistan, said in a statement released with the report.
Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, described the incident as "deeply regrettable" and said that he believed that the investigation had been "exhaustive."
"I am also confident that appropriate actions are being taken with regard to those involved in the incident, and most importantly, to ensure measures are taken to prevent such accidents from happening again," he said in a statement.
The US military has come under intense criticism over civilian deaths in Afghanistan and has repeatedly pledged to do all it can to avoid such incidents.

Dont dodge the question. Why you afghans are not resisting US occupation. Why only pakistan-sponsered talibans have the guts to resist foreign occupation? what has happened to rest of u afghans...persianification?

Of course Afghans are resisting. It's a mean dig to say "persianification".
Persians are adept at diplomacy. There exists a need for BOTH ways to get out America.
First is the military resistance.
Too, clever words and assurances need to be given to American authorities to persuade any of those who may be vacillating that it's time to - as they say in the kind of silly popular expression - throw in the towel and leave Afghanistan AND Pakistan AND the entire region, including Israel.

I support a New Strategy of the two groups working together in common cause.

Maybe through that venue, MORE Afghans could rise up.
If the entire Kabul govt. walks out of their offices, that makes a statement to the US.
If Afghan personnel refuse to show up for meetings with their American overseers, that makes a statement.
There's a lot that could be done if people will cooperate together across ethnic and religious lines.
Hurry up, guys !
And women too, I'm sure there are a lot of staunch Afghan women who would vastly help out if there is enough good organization. Persians are good organizers.
So don't downplay the need for their talents in this.
I'm trying to offer constructive ideas because time is a wasting and people are dying and suffering needlessly due to this US-NATO refusal to call a spade a spade and get out. Egos are too strong to just apologize and leave.

Here's where the Persian flattery element could smoothe that way. Working in concert with the brave fighters from Pashtuns, and all other groups too.

Afghans resisted Paki proxies Taliban that is why you are witnessing a constitutiional government, afghans own army, police, bureaucracy and other state institutions. Why should they resist the UN led ISAF forces? lol. To bring back paki proxies to rule brave afghan nation?

According to Mr. Obama ISAF forces will be in Afghanistan till the job is done. Do you know what it means? It means they will be there till Pakis false federation is dismantled and Pakis are totally fu*cked.

Maybe in answer to the demand in the original post on this thread,
and to lighten the mood a little, here's a spoof of an address by Obama composed by [I suppose] an American who shows sign of having preserved his ability to observe events with objectivity.

He only missed the part about the Compensation Offer to Afghans and Others Who Were Incapacitated or Inconvienced In Any Way by American Actions In The Last Decade in Afghanistan Or Pakistan's Tribal Areas, etc.

As reported by Michael Moore
My Fellow Americans:
Obama addressing the nation

Nine years ago today we invaded the nation of Afghanistan. I’d just turned 40. I had a Discman and an Oldsmobile and had gotten really into Live Journal. That was a long time ago. It was so long ago, does anybody remember why we’re even there? I think everyone wanted to capture Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. But he got away sometime in the first month or so. He left. We stayed. Looking back now, that makes no sense.

Needing to find a new reason for the mission, we decided to overthrow the religious extremists who were running Afghanistan. Which we did. Sorta. Unlike Osama, they never left. Why not? Well, they were Afghans, it was their country. And, strangely enough, a lot of other Afghans supported them. To this day, the Taliban only have 25,000 armed fighters. Do you really think an army that tiny could control and suppress a nation of 28 million against their will? What’s wrong with this picture? WTF is really going on here?

The truth is, I can’t get an answer. My generals can’t quite tell me what our mission is. If we went in there to rout out al-Qaeda, well, they’re gone too. The CIA tells me there are YouTube - CIA Director Leon Panetta: At Most 50 to 100 Al Qaeda in Afghanistan!

My generals have also admitted the following to me:

1. There is no way we can defeat the Taliban. They enjoy too much popular support in the rural areas, the majority of the country.

2. Even though we’ve been there nine years, the truth is the Taliban, not us, not the Afghan government, control the country. After nine years, we’ve only completely run the Taliban out of 3% of Afghanistan.

3%!!

(Just for reference, it took us only ELEVEN MONTHS after D-Day to entirely defeat the Nazis across all of Europe.)

3. Our troops and their commanders are still trying to learn the language, the culture, the customs of Afghanistan. The fact is, our troops are simply not trusted by the average people (especially after they’ve killed numerous civilians, either through recklessness or for sport).

4. The Afghan government we installed is corrupt beyond belief. The public does not trust them. President Karzai is on anti-depressants and our advisors tell us he is erratic and loopy on many days. His brother has a friendly relationship with the Taliban and is believed to be a major poppy (heroin) dealer. Heroin poppies are the #1 contributor to the Afghan economy.

The war in Afghanistan is a mess. The insurgency grows — and why wouldn’t it: foreign troops have invaded and occupied their country! The people responsible for 9/11 are no longer there. So why are we? Why are we offering up the lives of our sons and daughters every single day — for no reason anyone can define.

In fact, the only reason I can see is that this war is putting billions of profits into the pockets of defense contractors. Is that a reason to stay, so Halliburton can post a larger profit this quarter?

It is time for me to bring our troops home — right now. Not one more American needs to die. Their deaths do not make us safer and they do not bring democracy to Afghanistan.

It is not our mission to defeat the Taliban. That is the job of the Afghan people — if that is what they choose to do. There are many groups and leaders of countries in this world who are despicable. We are not going to invade 30 countries and remove their regimes. That is not our job.

I am not going to stay in Afghanistan just because we’re already there and we haven’t “won” yet. There is nothing to win. No one from Genghis Khan to Leonid Brezhnev has been able to win there. So the troops are coming home.

I refuse to participate in scaring the American people with a phony “War on Terror.” Are there terrorists? Yes. Will they strike again? Sadly, yes. But these terrorist acts are few and far between and should not dictate how we live our daily lives or make us ignore our constitutional rights. They should never distract us from what our real priorities are in making our country safe and secure: Everyone with a good job, families able to own a home and send their kids to college, universal health care that’s coordinated by your elected representative government — not by greedy, profit-hungry insurance companies. THAT would be true homeland security.
And what about Osama bin Laden? Nine years and we can’t find a 6’5″ Arab man who apparently is on dialysis? Even after offering $25 million to anyone who will tell us where he is? You don’t think someone would have taken us up on that by now?

Here’s what I know: Osama bin Laden is a multi-millionaire — and if there’s one thing I’ve learned about the rich is that they don’t live in caves for 9 years. Bin Laden is either dead or hiding out in a place where his money protects him. Or maybe he just went home.
Just like we should do. Now. My condolences to the families of all who died in this war. Most of them signed up after 9/11 and wanted to do their duty because we were attacked. But we were not attacked by a country. We were attacked by a few religious extremists. And you don’t defeat a few thugs by shipping halfway around the world thousands of armored vehicles and hundreds of thousands of soldiers. That is just sheer idiocy.

And it ends tonight.

(End of speech, as transcribed by Michael Moore)

I understand that they are not in afghanistan for some high moral reasons but at least Afghanistan today has no clash of interest with US or any other country except Pakistan, rather Pashtun(afghans) interest overlap now with the US.

Another thing, just compare the social conditions before 9/11 and post 9/11 in afghanistan, it's evident like a day light.

Shehbaz,

The one paragraph I quote below from the first post answers that succintly.

I like it because it says the unvarnished truth about how Americans are. Many others, as a result have followed this glazed-eyed pattern of surrender of ability to THINK, QUESTION and ANALYZE.
For example, a Pakistani editorial writer I happened to come across the other day echoing the American Party Line as though he were unable to reason FOR HIMSELF. He sounded as though he were paid by Zardari's office...

This is the problem.
People of many countries fall for this indoctrination.

It's in the fashions of speech, attire, popular tastes, everything. The citizen of the world today who partakes of these things usually becomes robotized!
That's why it's important to stay away from Western fashion styles, using the trendy current pop words, terms, whatever one reads in American publications or hears in American movies.
Adopting these mannerisms help one to become robotized into the same mass mentality which is THEN easily manipulated by bad forces to acquiesce to whatever their agenda happens to be at the moment.

How could you believe such statements promulgated by the US High Command ?
I won't even read them because it's painful to the eyes to witness all the lies shining through the false words issued to make everyone in the region pacified as to the supposed beneficent American "mission" in Afghanistan. Only due to a deep and sincere caring about the individuals in Afghanistan and the security of Pashtunkhwa are they doing the following:

"However, ten years of maiming and murdering innocent civilians, destroying nature and environment due to congenital prejudice and bigotry of the Zionised and robotic Americans, today, almost everyone have turned against them! "

Shahbaz this is all misleading. Don't get duped by one's english writing skills. Analyaze for yourself.

Everything Pakistan wishes for Afghanistan will be worst for Pashtuns(afghans) both in afghanistan and across the imaginary Durnad line. We have tied destiny with afghan state. You will see this in future. Pakistan/Punjab and Pashtuns(afghans) have an inherent clash of interests. If Pakistan dominates afghanistan our name as resilient and proud nation will vanish for ever from the pages of history.

Sister, there are more positive thing for you to do than pushing Pashtuns on the way of war/Jehad mongerism that has already destroyed them. Why don't you go and preach this Jehadi mantra to your favorite people i.e., Beduines on your favorite holy land?

Destroyed Pashtuns? How?

I rather think Russia decimated Afghanistan, and what Russia didn't do, European powers came into finish, dragging nice countries like Turkey along to add to the charade of legitimacy of their aggressive actions.

There was only one thing Soviet Russia understand: military power in resistance.
Polite words "wouldn't you like to go back home and leave us in the peace you Communists always use as your slogan?" would have done zilch!

Today EVEN AFTER 9 years of US war in the country, to the usual American - sadly - an Afghan is not a person.

Can you believe that if someone said "Afghan", the average American woman would knowingly nod, picturing a type of crocheted blanket ! Or, perhaps a coveted, expensive species of a hound!

This lack of even basic awareness of foreign affairs is sad beyond measure!

The only way the normal American population gets the message that the presence of US troops is not welcome in Afghanistan is: IF Afghans rise up and make their displeasure obvious to the world's eyes.

That involves many tactics of the type which would catch the evening news.

The low voter turnout in the recent election was one such indication. There was so much American media attention on voting that it had to be admitted [very quietly, of course] that there was scarce turnout at the polls.

If Afghan workers don't show up and when asked, offer excuses like "I got a splinter in my thumb", it sends a message! Eventually the American media pick that message up. Hopefully, there are a few voices who can sound the warning, that is.

THEN - FINALLY ! The American voter says in shock, "You mean, they.. they... really don't LIKE us?? All this time, I had thought that, well, I mean, we are so civilizing and nice, how could the Afghanistanis not be grateful for all the wonderful help we give them? Oh my goodness, well let's leave them to their troubles and address the American malaise here at home.

Americans mean well and are extremely practical. They can get the point. But it needs to get to THEM directly.

Otherwise they are, for an educated population, unusually easily led. Why? Because most of them care little to learn anything outside mass perceptions, such as the prevailing view that Muslims are dangerous and need to be quelled.
That message was pounded in and it's very difficult to erase with the reinforcement everywhere.

A different image needs to be CLEARLY projected that Afghans want to manage their own problems, thank you. Something crystal clear needs to be presented to the average American that he or she can relate to.

Why do almost none find it strange that Afghans would defend their territory in the face of a huge military invasion? This is one example of how distorted the American popular mentality has become. What about the Revolutionary War, for example?

I know people who believe America should never have rebelled against Britain. These are original thinkers. Right or wrong, they have their own perspective. Not the American history book one that has been built up for over two centuries.

But why then don't Americans say these Afghans/Iraqis/anybody need their own country and wish to throw off foreign interference?

Look, they wouldn't even like Saudi Arabia invading them either !
So so much for your argument, Toramana.
