Look at the world. Who are more advanced and who are poor or less advaned or least developed? You will see one factor and that is Religion. The more religion is dominant , the less developed they are.

It does not mean the mere existence of Religion but its social dominance and its going beyond its role of religion being set of beliefs, worship and morality. religion does exist in the developed world but it remains limited to private lives and cater for the spiritual needs not for social or economic or political needs.

Japan, China, South korea are Budhist but developed. USA, Europe etc are Christian but developed as religion is only religion there. Afghanistan, Pakistan , most of the Muslim world are not developed because religion is part of politics, society and economy. Latin America has more influence of Catholicism , thats why less developed.

This world is the real world and the here after depends on how you remain in this world. Dont spread the message of otherworldliness. Be developed by leaving religion only to beliefs, worship and morality. Nothing beyond that. Otherwise the poor Muslims will die for going to the developed by all means. Make your own world developed by making it secular.

I cant beleive what I am reading. Dont talk about economics if you know nothing about it. Religion has nothing to do with how developed an economy is. It is the ability of the country to attract investment and establishing trade. It has to do with the stratigic location of the country, population of the country and the resources the country has.

Japan has a huge population, with little resources although the number 2 economy in world, because they have found a way to attract investment.
Saudi arabia has abundant resources, low population, it does not mater if the country is Islamic, secular, christian Jewish, buddist or Martian. The country will be rich and nothing can stop it from being rich as long as the resources are there, after the resources run out, they have to find another way to attract investment.
Dubia is much more developed and richer than Abu Dubia but has alot less oil than Abu Dubia. The difference is Dubia has found a way to attract trillions of Dalloars in investment because of its stratigic location and the trade that has been able to attract.
Look at Singapore, the cleanest city in the world, a prodominantly muslim city nation. No resources but it has been able to compete with the best of other asian economies not because it is predominantly muslim but because of it stratigic location and its ability to attract investment.

About Women Rights. The West is capitalistic. In a capitalistic society, everything is about money. Sex sells so naturally women are nothing more than sexual objects. Women that are traficked for sex are mostly traficked to the west because of the wealth that can be aquired. They can make more money there than lets say eastern europe or asia latin america, middle east. The Media bombards the population with sex because it sells. People think of nothing but sex in a capitalistic society. Rape and molestation is common because of the ease of access and the constant bombardment of sex images from the media because that is what sells.

Islam teaches us to protect women from this abuse that happens. It does not say lock them in their rooms and it also doesnt say have them jog in shorts like Baygham is saying. There is a middle ground.

Singapore has only 14.9% population of Muslims.
Just tell me a single Muslim country which is developed?
Application of religion beyond its scope has has made Muslims less developed.
Please read my post again. It will make sense. I said where religion dominates social and economic life , tehre its an obstacle. I recognize the reole of religion only the spiritual sphere and in beliefs, worship and morality. Nothing beyond that.
