  • We Want Loy Afghanistan Or Khurasaan

    Salamoona ,brothers and sister.

For more than 60 years Pakistan has oppressed us Pakhtuns. Our natural resources are looted and sent to punjab. They are killing our own brothers and sisters who have been labelled by Musharraf and Zardari as "terrorists",in Waziristan. Isnt it about time that we Pakhtuns on both sides of the border wake up and unite? Isnt about time that Pakhtuns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan break free from Pakistan and unite back with Afghanistan and create LOY AFGHANISTAN? Because the Durrand Line never ever existed in the minds or on paper for Pakhtuns.

We Pakhtuns are a nation of our own who has existed for more than 5000 years before Pakistan was created , so Pakhtuns in Pakistan should wake up and call them selves Pakhtuns and not "pakistanis",because we are nothing like pakistanis. Our language, culture and traditions is totally opposite of the punjabis. Isnt it about time that we create our own future instead of beeing ruled by punjabis who are slaughtering us for USA dollars ? Isnt it about time that we say enough is enough and create LOY AFGHANISTAN ?

Our Pakhtun brothers in Afghanistan has realised the truth and therefore no one is ever able to conquer them wehreas Pakhtuns on this side of the border has been drugged with "paki" tag. It is very sad to see that our legendary 5000 year old identity is beeing lost for 63 years of "pakiism". Now I ask my Pakhtun brothers who conciders themselves "pakis",where is your logic and brain?

How can you people concider your selves "pakis",when the term appeared only in 1947 ,and your land wich has been stolen by napakis will never be returnd to you if you dont do anything about it? How can you sleep at night beeing a nation wich is beeing divided by a "border" (to me non existant) ? Dont you people feel not the slightest shame of calling your selves "pakis",while your race (Pakhtun race) is beeing watered down with intermarraiges with pakis? Dont you feel the slighetst shame of calling yourselves "pakis", while napak army has for the last 6 years ruined the whole of North/South Waziristan in the name of "war on terror",when the war really is a "war of terror"(genocide on Pakhtuns)? When will you people wake up and see that the napakis are using you Pakhtuns as pawn in their dirty game of becoming Asias super power? When will you people stand up to this evil of napakistanis where they deliberately are exterminating you?

Though my hearth goes out to the Mujaheddin of Waziristan I am going to ask them why are you shouting " we want Shariah in Pakistan"? For all I care to hell with NAPAKISTAN. If you really want to fight, fight first for creating your own land ,break free Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and unite it with Afghanistan and create "KHURASAN"(the old name of Afghanistan) ,and then make Shariah in that country. The Napakis are not interested in Shariah, they want kufr goverment. To hell with Napakis. Pakhtun interests come first.

If anyone of you are offended I dont give a damn. This is reality. We are a nation who once ruled the world, now the world is ruling us.Can we stomach this situation anymore?. The answer is NO!

What do you brothers and sisters feel about this? Please share your opinions. Here is a taster for our future :

No Loy Afghanistan or Pashtunistan or Khurasan but bridging the distance by non political means

I see Pashtuns talking about Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan (Greater Afghanistan) but I just see them talking no body is taking any action. These are all imaginative plans which have nothing to do with the reality so far. That’s why the only reality is the status quo, where we are. In the present circumstances nothing will change. Pakistan will never let its Pashtun parts to be ceded and Afghanistan is never asking for it or doing any thing for it. For Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan I don’t see any serious movement neither in Pakistan nor in Afghanistan.

Pashtun nationalist parties in Pakistan like ANP and PMAP are involved in pure Pakistani politics. They swear by the constitution of Pakistan and never talk of separation from Pakistan and joining Loy Afghanistan or creating Pashtunistan. I don’t see any mass movement in the streets of Pakistan for Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan. These are only internet slogans by very few Pashtuns but in the real life there is no struggle going on for these goals. I don’t know any party or group like Baloch liberation Army fighting in the real sense for any independent Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan. Pashtun nationalists talk only of Pashtun rights within Pakistan but never talk of dismembering Pakistan and creating a new entity. We don’t see any struggle on the pattern of Bengalis for Bangladesh. Rather many Pakistanis are quite happy in Pakistan and will never look to the worn torn Afghanistan as their abode.
The same situation can be witnessed in Afghanistan. We don’t have a single party or group struggling for Loy Afghanistan or Pashtunistan. Afghan government never asks for Pashtunistan or Loy Afghanistan from Pakistan and will never sacrifice its non Pashtun parts for any pure Pashtun state. All non Pashtuns are considered equal Afghans and Afghanistan will never leave its non Pashtuns Afghans for Pashtuns of Pakistan. The only reality emerges in this scenario is the status quo. But it does not mean Pashtuns cease to be the same race or ethnic group. They remain brethren in Pashtunwali and speakers of the same language.

Keeping in view the reality of no possibility of any political unity, the only path remains is non political. I am extremely worried about the increasing distance between the Pashtuns of Afghanistan and Pakistan. If some serious efforts are not taken Pashtuns on both sides of the border, Pashtuns will deem themselves as different races or ethnicities. Yes races or ethnicities because already they belong to two different nations, Pakistani and Afghanistani or afghan.

Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand line belong to one family, one blood, one language and one culture, one past but now being part of two different countries, distance is increasing between them. Pashtuns in Pakistan are coming under influence of Punjabis and Urdu speakers and Pashtuns in Afghanistan are coming under influence of Tajiks and Persian speakers.

We have to work and suggest that how Pashtuns on both sides can be culturally and linguistically united? Their cultural and linguistic unity is the only possibility as their political unity is now an unattainable dream. We have to devise pragmatic strategies that how distance between Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand line can be reduced and they may come together at least culturally psychologically and linguistically if not politically. Pashtuns must be realistic in their approach. Some Pashtuns on both sides want merger of Pashtuns areas which is impossible as how Afghanistan will leave its non -Pashtun areas to be merged with Pashtun areas for a greater Pashtunistan. This is impossible, and how Pakistan will let its Pashtun areas to be separated, that would be too impossible for Pakistan.

As the distance between the Pashtuns living in Afghanistan and Pakistan is increasing we must learn from nations who speak the same language and have the same culture but are politically different and belong to different nations or countries and are citizens of different states. For example all Arab, Spanish, German, French ,English speaking people are not the citizens of the same countries but psychologically ,linguistically , culturally , economically they have enormous ties and try to develop linkages which further strengthen their bonds

We Pashtuns on both sides of the border if cant become one nation politically at least can feel one ethnic group and sons of the same father living in different houses . We must encourage connections with each other by marriages, conferences and friendships. We must feel near to an Afghan Pashtun than to a Pakistani Panjabi and vice versa

The concern is also about the increasing distance of Pashto language spoken in Pakistan and Afghanistan. There is a marked difference in vocabulary of the Pashto spoken in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Afghanistani Pashto is influenced by Persian while Pakistani Pashto by Urdu or English. Here the solution is using pure Pashto words neither of Persian nor Urdu nor English. This will bridge the linguistic difference

However, the difference of accent is geographical not political. It does not depend on Pakistan or Afghanistan. It’s not East West. Its North –South. There arer two main dialects in Pashto language. Hard dialect spoken in areas like Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Malakand, Dir, Kohat, Paracinar, Jalalabad, Bajawar, Mohmand, Khyber, etc mainly in northern part of Pashto speaking areas. Soft dialect is spoken in Southern areas like Banu, Karak, Waziristan, Baluchistan, Qandahar, Paktya etc

I have rarely seen an Afghan Pashtun who intensely hate a Pakistani Pashtun or a Pakistani Pashtun who abhor an Afghan Pashtun but the gap between Pashtuns living in these two countries is really increasing day by day and which can be seen in various internet based forums and other social events of mixed communities specially in foreign countries. Even in Pakistan a Pashtun from Afghanistan is some times called Kabaley or kabuli with a tone of humiliation and Afghan Pashtuns consider the Pakistani Pashtuns to be lesser Pashtuns.

Pashtuns are responsible as well as only solvers for all their problems including the increasing gap between the Pashtuns on both sides of the border. I wish the bridge of the distance between Pashtuns on two sides of the Durand line should be minimized not further intensified. We should become realist and instead of talking or struggling for imaginative ideals like Loy Afghanistan or Pashtunistan may struggle for the cultural, linguistic, psychological and economic unity of Pashtuns living any where in the world including Afghanistan or Pakistan.

This should be however clear that Afghanistan remains the motherland of Pashtuns and Pashtuns and Pashto have the only real status there in Afghanistan. The only hope for the development of Pashto as a language is Afghanistan. In Pakistan Pashtuns should struggle for greater provincial autonomy and should create a bigger Pashtun province including Khyber Pashtunkhwah, FATA, and the Pashtun parts of Baluchistan. Pakistani Pashtuns should struggle for Pashtun rights within Pakistan and making Pashto the official language of the Pashtun areas.

Main reason I prefer it to be Khurasaan is that the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said :

Related by Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "(Armies carrying) black flags will come from Khurasan (Afghanistan). No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Jerusalem where they will erect their flags." (Tirmidhi)

This way the we will fulfill the prophecy in full,as the black flags has already risen in that area...

But first of all we Pakhtuns need to get our people united and break down the "border " that divides us , and create our own country.

Talk about a self fullfilling prophecy. I was thinking of starting a gang of looters, and thanks to this wonderfull hadith, I am going to design a black flag as my logo for my gangstars, have them wear black bandanas and dark shades, we will even print this hadith on the back so as to inform others of our noble intentions and Godly approval.

Wait a minute, didnt the talibs did something similar.

Thats the power of stupidity, even with eyes wide open, you stay totally blind.

The reasons for the creation of Loy Afghanistan in the future are political and geo strategic not religeous in nature. It does not imply however that religion is not important element in Pakhtun/ Afghan culture but if it is kept at a distance from political struggle and confined to aesthetics , private and cultural life ,it will be more appropriate and realistic.

Khurasan is a historical name but as a Tajik, I have noticed many of our nationalists have switched the meaning behind Khurasan.

I think Afghanistan is fine, If others want to join, I have no problem. I gladly embrace my brothers and sisters of Pashtunkhwa. This is coming from an Afghan of Tajik ethnicity.

None is a bold claim you are making. You can speak for yourself and say you do not want to be part of Loy Afghanistan but to say "none" you are indirectly contradicting yourself. There are a handful of members who are from Pakistan that would beg to differ from you and they might also refute your posts. When speaking in such context, you have to be aware of your word usage. Saying "none" has many implications. It makes you appears as if you are speaking factually with cited sources. If you would have added "In my opinion" I wouldn't have been typing all this to you. Why? because its your opinion.

Oh well, nonetheless, Monsieur l'abbé, je déteste ce que vous écrivez, mais je donnerai ma vie pour que vous puissiez continuer à écrire.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

You didn't get my point did you? I did not argue if they exist or not, re-read my post carefully and slowly. I haven't posted my political stance yet. I just disagree with your claim in which you boldly said "NONE". You said it as if it was a fact. If you would have said "In my opinion" I wouldn't have been typing this. This is a basic fundamental of debating. You do not make such substantial claims without citing sources. I can't just say Canadians are American slaves and expect everything to be pretty and glooomy. When you post, there is a certain expectation. Its sort of an unwritten law that without citing sources or providing concrete evidence your post is invalid and void. Besides, quite obviously many Pashtuns of Pakistan want Loy Afghanistan and PF is clear evidence for this. We have members who want Loy Afghanistan that reside right in Hayatabad,Peshawar. You can even pay them a visit if you want. They aren't robots. I can name a handful members who reside perhaps no more than 100KMs away than you. Strange world ain't it?
