Loy Afghanistan and Loy Pakistan, same thing. I am more in favor of Pukhtoonkhwa, whether an autonomous region or independent nation. Joining all Pukhtoons to either of these nations is a catastrophe. If Loy Afghanistan, Pukhtoons will be assimilated by Dari. If Loy Pakistan, Pukhtoons will be assimilated by Hindustani (Urdu).

Afghanistan wants a mutual co-existence, it's Pakistan that has carved itself a strategic anti-India Afghan policy which makes things harder for Afghans to rebuild their nation. It is true that in the past there have been elements within Afghanistan that has promoted separatists ideas in Pakistan, but they weren't as serious as what Pakistan is doing today. Not only Afghans, but many Pakistanis are tired of Pakistani policies that have greatly destroyed Pakistan image internationally. The ball is in Pakistan's court, they have ties to the Afghan Taliban and they can do more to bring peace to the region.

Pakistan should show compassion towards its Muslim neighbor and its own citizens, and bring an end to this ugly chapter once and for all.

shahbaz khana wrora in the present estalishment pashtun are divided into pieces, half of occupied pashtunkhwah is taken by panjab, look at the tribal region, lets forget about pashtun for moment. i dont think your failed state can keep the present areas under its controle. you should be worrying about kashmir and baluchistan. pashtun are targetted by all means state sponsored terrorism and by the army. its another dream. lets put our mind into uniting our pashtun brothers on each sides.

It will be at the expense of Pashtuns and they will just increase their strategic depth further into our areas. Loy Pakistan is a zero concept idea...there was one idea of a confederation but the muslim leaguers themselves sidelined their idea (obviously angraezaano che na praekhodha).

I have been following this site for awhile and I have seen that a "Loy Afghanistan" which would include Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbecks and so on it so how can some of you say that the REST of Pakistan is repulsive and only Pashtun areas are welcome? The history you share with Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbecks is not for very long and they have done the same and in some cases worse to you all than any Punjabi has done to us. Please explain to me why are THOSE non-Pashtuns okay in your "Loy Afghanistan" but Punjabi, Sindhi & so on are not? Just as you share a history with Tajiks, Uzbecks, Hazaras and don't hate all of them neither do most of us hate all Sindhi, Punjabi & so on. It would be best if we ALL unite as ONE country

This is a logical fallacy and I have noticed this get peddled around way too much. Loy Afghanistan is based on the concept that the Afghan watan was split into two halves by the British. The eastern Half was further split into 4. Now as the British are gone and the cold war is over, there is no need for our areas to be divided. Hence the Afghan watan should be reunified. The fact that tajiks, uzbek,s hindkos, chitrali, etc live there is not the basis of this land. It isn't because x is more livable and y is. It has to do with certain historical and political realities of the region.

You can't simply use the argument that oh we can live with tajiks, but why not panjabis. That is a weak argument. The people who live in the lar au bar Afghan watan are part of it, we can't kick out minorities. However the concept of Pakistan was based on a flawed ideology and confused federation. This federation has never worked and is increasingly collapsing. So it make no sense or rather we have no interest in maintaining it. We are stuck with Afghanistan either way, since we share national ties to them and our trade, interests are linked. With Pakistan it has never been the case.

The majority in Pakistan could have been martians, it still would be beside the point, that Pakistan as a state and federation let alone ideology has failed.

BTW Shehbaz khan you are using fundamentally weak arguments mostly weak platitudes to shift the blame on us rather than the inherent flawed system of Pakistan. Hec they have even ignored and destroyed their own 1940 resolution.

My two cents- The idea of a joint Af-Pak federation seem unfeasible, simply because of the deep-rooted nationalism (particularly Afghan Pakhtuns) and the mistrust towards Pakistan in Pakhtuns. The above also stem from the fact that Pakistan tried to control the country via Taliban and the ensuing war plunged Afghanistan into further depths.

I guess for the betterment of Pakhtun Nation both Pakistan and Afghanistan need to work under the same federation whatever you may call let it be Pakistan or Afghanistan doesn't matter .. The name is not what I need .. I need a piece of bread and a house for my people to live happily and safely without the fear of getting killed and robbed!!
