The video is made for Pakistani audience. There are Pashto versions of such videos. If I find any on youtube, I will share it with youOriginally posted by khyaal View PostWhat is so intriguing is that after Siraj ud Din's speech the eulogy is sung in Urdu and even the commentary is in urdu. After that Arabic is played but no Pashto![SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

he is asked, what do you say of the rumors that taliban are servants of ISI. He says, there was a muslim who revolted against Americans and killed his fellow soldiers. Like wise, there are many Pakistanis who are opposed to Pakistani army and intelligences policy.Originally posted by Catya Sher View PostI know it's nearly 15 minutes, but I would be really grateful to get some sort of summary of the highlights.
This must be new, right?
I bet he's saying that ISI is not controlling his group, or something like this?
But he clearly says pakistan is an enemy of islam and muslims. It does not desire an Islamic Afghanistan. Neither does it support Afghanistans occupation by Americans. And he endorses those forces who oppose Pakistan.
For the usual propagandists on this forum who keep telling lies and spreading Pentagon propaganda, this video is the answer. However, they will reject it and say: " he is lying, because New York Times says such and so..and Dawn says such and so"[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

I don't think Haqani is a bad person. I think he is very orthodox and religious person and Pakistanis have tap on to that and is using him. His words on Pakistan are vague. Infact, I have read reports how they get treated in mainstream Pakistani hosiptals in Peshawar and Karachi. Haqani has always been close to and has some solid friends in ISI.
Any Talib that has rebelled against Pakistan has somehow been either eliminated by them or have been tracked by Pakistan and then eliminated by U.S. Mullah Dadullah and Mullah Obaidullah Akhund are examples, and now recently Mullah Bradar. I loved the feriousness of Zmaray Mullah Dadullah, he is my favourite Talib. He was killed/martyred by joint Pakistni and U.S. opertation. Pakistan feared him for being fiercely independant.

I don't know much about Sirajudin. But I have heard allot about Jalaludin Haqqani. According to people who faught alongside him in Khost and Paktia, he is a very kind person and an outstanding leader. People love him and respect him allot.
He has many enemies. And so far I have not seen or heard of any of his enemies who is a good person or represents anything good.
If all the evil forces of the world are against Haqqani, then he trully is a great person.[SIZE="4"][B][CENTER][URL="www.quranawsunnat.com"]www.quranawsunnat.com

Same here re Siraj., who seems elusive.
But reasonable according to the Q/A article which was available in English a month or two ago.
They had people write in questions which he answered. The type of questioning sounded as though the askers were rather hard-lined, some of them. They were demanding to hear his views on various topics, such as receiving help from anyone.
If I remember correctly, he said they will accept help from any quarter, because there is no prohibition against it.
Others asked why he didn't speak loudly out about Palestine. He answered that they're busy with pressing concerns at home but of course condemn the attack on the flotilla and Israeli policies.
This is what I mean by reasonable.
Others clarified rumors; much of it was probably a waste of time from S.H.'s point of view, but many DID have questions which they were worried about. He patiently answered the accumulated queries in what one imagines to be a calm, quiet voice.
After all that, though, it's difficult to get any concrete idea about what type of person he is besides shrewd and pious. There were no personal questions of any type, which is not surprising.
Jelaluddin is considered by Westerners to be less of a religious hard-liner. Which sounds right to me after reading the Sirajuddin interview.
For the sake of Pashtun history, I guess I will EVENTUALLY put some of the vignettes I gathered from being at those battle fronts in the Soviet time. They show Jelaluddin as being a very superior person in any place, time, or culture. Which he obviously is, no matter how demonized by the American media he is.
That is to say that they picked him out of the hat to turn into the Villian of the Decade.
Every American blog about anything to do with the 2000's war against Afghanistan recites like a robot the same exact words about how bad he is.
These people know nothing at all; they repeat endlessly the same garbage.
I personally think the truth needs to be found here.

It matters little what he says. Actions speak louder than words.
The murdering thug has killed more Muslims than he has Soviets (a lot of whom were Muslims as well). He is hiding in North Waziristan with the full support of the ISI. You can't take refuge here without their consent. North Waziristan is the only area of FATA where the Pakistani army is not dropping bombs. Why is that so? It is also the place where, since yesterday, the United States has intensified its drone operations, hoping that it could somehow pressurize the Pakistani army to attack Haqqani, just as it managed to get it involved in South Waziristan.
If anyone here believes that anyone from the Haqqani network is just going to come out and say, "yeah, we have an ISI attache with us, who acts as a bridge between us and our contacts in the ISI", then he/she is deluded.
Catya Sher, where in Pashtunkhwa/Afghanistan are you from? Are you a Pashtun? Just wondering...
Sangar, if you could answer these questions please:
- Is it possible that anyone can be safely stationed in North Waziristan without the ISI's consent?
- Why hasn't North Waziristan been aerially bombarded like the rest of FATA?
- If the Haqqanis were given refuge and support in 1977, why should we believe that his old friends are now his enemies?
- How come only the ISI (Pasha and Kayani) managed to get the Haqqanis to talk with Karzai in June this year?
- Why hasn't the Haqqani group targeted Pak Army installations in South Waziristan, Bajaur, Orakzai, Khyber Agency and Lakki Marwat?
- Why was the Haqqani group implicated in the 2008 attacks on the Indian embassy in Kabul?
Commander saeb is correct when he says that the ISI hands over to the United States whoever it pleases. It's an organization of despicable, deviant spies, what else can you expect from them? The ISI-terrorist relationship is a strictly give-and-take affair - you scratch my back, I scratch yours. Right now, Haqqani is killing NATO invaders. Tomorrow, he will run Afghanistan on Pakistan's terms, just like his ideological brothers to the south in Quetta."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

STRONG AND POWERFUL.Originally posted by pakistaniISI is a great organization that protects Pashtuns from all menacing things. without ISI Pakistan will suffer. ISI has made Pakistan become strong and powerful.

Self-appointed Field Marshall Pakistan dictator Ayub Khan signing the Tashkent Declaration with India in 1965 after his armed forces failed miserably as far as operations Gibraltar and Grand Slam were concerned.

Bhutto signing the Simla Agreement with Indra Gandhi after Pakistan lost half its population and territory and 90,000 strong and powerful men surrendered to a General Jahjit Singh Arora in 1971.

Mike Mullen and Anne Patterson ordering strong and powerful Musharraf to give him military bases in Balochistan. At least two were handed over. Patterson said, "Babu, we need bases because our people need to see bodies stacked up". Musharraf replied, "yes Ma'im sahab, anything else?"

Minister for the strong and powerful Pakistani economy with the head of the IMF after a one-hour closed-door begging session."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

Well. Snap out of Wonderland li'l Alice. We won the wars, and besides look at Indian size and our size. Our infrastructure was rated higher than India. we have better roads.
What is the word for a person who calls himself a Muslim but follows none of the Islamic ideals/principals ? Begins with M and ends with q, right ? I think that is a more appropriate word than "Islamic" for Pakistan .Pakistani ISI has made Pakistan the most powerful Islamic nation in the world.Last edited by drona; 09-17-2010, 02:33 PM.
