We are over this. This has been discussed and brought up by you million times.

Since some people don't agree with your skewed views, you think that we are fascist criminals who hate other people. lol

Patriotism and nationalism could mean differnt things for differnt people and fascism is out right sin.

I am Afghan, a Pashtun, but I am patriotic about my country Afghanistan and its people, of course equally all its people. Since I belong to that nation/state my first priority is to serve them by all means. That makes me patriot and nationalist.

All three are distinct political phenomena, though at times they can overlap.

Patriotism: "Pakistan Zindabad, Islamick aytami bum mizzile, we won in 1965, USA is scared of us".

Nationalism: "I love my people, my identity, my culture and my language".

Fascism: "I am the Khalifa/Fuhrer/Pharaoh. Protesting against me will get you the death penalty. Elections are kufr. All your freedoms R belongs 2 me. I can has many wives".
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

As I said it depends on the person. Some one could be a nationalist and patriotic for just being a fascist, while the other way around is not necessarily the case. I don't see facsism a political phenomenon.

you are confused now. Wasn't Hitler and Mussolini's regimes based on nationalism?

Like BLS said, they over-lap sometimes.

Fascism can be based on nationalism, patriotism, religion, the invented threat from an outside force (Patriot Act, emergency acts) and various other factors.

Isn't Pedram a so called Muslim, aren't fascists Tajiks Muslim, and wasn't Massoudov a Mujahid Muslim? No they were fascist - and fascism negates nationalism and patriotism. Other than that even you a re a nationalist for being from Afghanistan. Would you sacrifice Afghanistan intersts for Pakistan or Iran. Or are you some wacko who thinks there is Khalifa? There is no room for fascism any more. Aren't you a national of Afghanistan or any country?

What are you struggling with? I know what you are after, you are after Pashtuns here... hahaha lol

Hitler very successfully played on the sentiments of a broken, battered, defeated and unjustly-treated people. The Treaty of Versailles created the perfect opportunity for someone like Hitler to come into power. The unjust "peace" of Versailles championed German nationalism. Hitler just played his role. I'm a neorealist, you see.

Bismarck and Garibaldi were the real nationalists. They brought unification and strength to their people. Hitler and Mussolini only brought death and misery.

Sangar one important aspect of discussing (and this goes to everyone) is that we can`t generalize major political phenomena just one the basis of select individuals. Especially since we take one aspect of their regime and ignore everything else. Mussolini and Hitler played at certain times on nationalist sentiment, but to consider it a solely nationalist movement is misleading. One aspect of fascism can be rabid fascism and nationalism, but it is not the end all be all of it.

Plus, according to Mussolini Fascism is essentially corporatism.

Patriotism: Long live my country, death to yours!
Facisim: Long live We, death to anyone that's not like us!
Nationalism: Long live my people, my heritage, and my motherland. They are as good as yours!

You could be a religious person and nationalist at the same time. When your nationalism turns into hate for others just because they are different, that's when things turn ugly.
