I am ashamed of being pakistani
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

She ranted on how corrupt the politicians are. How 60 years have passed and many people still live in poverty. How the politicians hardly care about its citizens. She also complained that all they have been doing is spreading hate. She said Islam teaches love, not hate. She said we need to unify and begin reconciliation. She also went as far as saying she is ashamed of being a Pakistani. She even pin-pointed at those whom she said are spreading hate.Originally posted by Rabia10 View PostCan anyone tell me "in a nutshell" what she said?Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

She is saying that they have a disease in our hearts and the chair members are the one who are suppose to stop this. We must stop this hate, I am ashamed of being Pakistani. What did you give this country? Flour? Water? Electricity? Do you call yourself Muslim? There is no room for hate in Islam! We need reconciliation we are all getting up and talking about hate, hate, hate.
^ In a nutshell lolI desire that which is Just - House of Dukemina.

pakistan will be a mess for many years due to corruption, poverty, lack of education and its 'me me me' culture where no1 gives two ****s about their country just themselves. its about time the goverment got off its royal arse and actually sorted the mess out, but that wont happen oh no no no, zardi is too busy having chai with David Cameron.

I concur but we must also admit that the country has drastically improved since its independence. Karachi is on the verge of becoming an economic hub for South Asia. Our bloods have been spilled for reasons that have not benefited us. If Peshawar were to become something similar to Karachi, perhaps maybe I could have raised an eyebrow and smiled.Originally posted by Shaed View Postpakistan will be a mess for many years due to corruption, poverty, lack of education and its 'me me me' culture where no1 gives two ****s about their country just themselves. its about time the goverment got off its royal arse and actually sorted the mess out, but that wont happen oh no no no, zardi is too busy having chai with David Cameron.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
