i've seen the video. it was not a collective operation by pakistani police to kill those two men. The mob killed them and a few pakistani cops were watching them.

the video was shot during the swat operations by pakistani army. They are beating random people, even old men with white beards asking them where the taliban are hiding.

When this video was released on youtube, at that time, it was already known that Swat Taliban have fled into Kunar & Nuristan.

This torture and humiliation of these people was totally unnecessary and unprovoked.

It just shows how the Pakistani elites and establishment are exactly like it was during the British occupation of the region. Men in uniforms who are from the region doing the British armies dirty work.

60 years have passed. Nothing has changed. Same people in same uniforms serving the same people and beating the same people.


This is the reality many Pakistanis like to forget and ignore. Because they do not consider these men who are being beaten to be part of what they are. The establishment.

There's no doubt that the current rulers of Pakistan are among the worst in the region's history.

I'm sure a lot of Pakistanis of every strata hate this leadership.

This is terrible, like that article about the taking away of the Swat population to jail and torturing to find out information about POSSIBLE family members. Why would the average Pakistani soldier CARE ? Wouldn't he secretly support a religious group over a puppet regime which seems as cruel as the proverbial dictatorship ?

Human by nature is against torture specially when its happening against the weak, but I can tell you these people who are questioned are not soo innocent. I have no sympathy for them. In swat army had to save their asses and they were making their moves very carefully, all these people were handed over by locals. They didn't want to take risk of picking anyone not associated with taliban, as it would have finished them off completely.

In Swat, the ruling elite who are pro government and rich people were opposed to Taliban. But the poor people were pro Taliban.

So the people who reported these people to the army are pro Pakistani Yousefzai's who own important chairs in the local government, army, police and own hotels and bars.

The very same people who are the reason for the corruption and inequality that led the people of Swat to welcome Shariah law.


Even if these men were criminals, for you to say that they deserved it, it reveals what kind of a person you are.

No Muslim would wish for another human being to be treated like this.

If they have commited a crime and they are found guilty, then they can be lashed, or beheaded.

But just to extract information from people and to humiliate them like this???

I have always supported Pakistani Taliban and whatever they do. And the more I see from you secularist Pashtuns from Pashtunkhwa the more I am convinced that PTT are righteous people.

What kind of animal would say that these people who are being used as punch-bags have deserved it?
