  • Celebrating Afghan independence is a JOKE

As salaamu aleikoum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Afghanistan liberated itself from the British rule by a very long rebellion against the invaders. Mujahedeen faught fiercely against the British imperialist forces. And They suffered great losses in Maiwand, Gandumak and Waziristan.

But today, Afghanistan is again, occupied by the same people. Our blood is shed, our homes are bombed, our relatives are martyred.

But this puppet regime of nihilist lapdogs mock our brave great grandfathers struggle by celebrating independence.

Celebrating Independence for Afghanistan is like a mother celebrating the birthday of her child who is in a hospital in state of coma and might die.

    We should be ashamed.

You cannot celebrate independence which is non-existent, it is really ironic

It is ironic, but it is important to acknowledge this day...if people don't remember that once their people struggled for it, then what will they? If you are not going to celebrate consider it a wake up call.

I don't know how you can celebrate while the people suffer, i think there are better ways of waking up people and what a more stronger message to the nation and people, that you tell them we cannot celebrate independence due to our situation-so lets work hard towards progress then maybe when that happens we can celebrate

What hurts me the most is this:

Imagine what the relatives of these young men would say. While they are burrying their loved ones and nobody is being held accountable for their blood, people are celebrating independence.

What kind of independence is this when our blood is shed by invaders and nobody is being held accountable. Nobody is going to jail for this. Nobody is being prosecuted.

That is a fair statement. Well like I said you can look at things from different perspectives....and if it is wrong to celebrate than at least use it to wake people in Pashtunkhwa and Afghanistan.

We deeply sympathise with the bereaved family. But you should have learnt a lesson from history. You abolished your state institutions with your own hands. You abolished Afghan Army by working as proxies for the enemy and now you complain while repeating the same mistake again by destabilizing the present setup which is in the process of reviving Afghan state institutions. It was the outcome of the absence of Army and other institutions that Afghanistan became a hub of international terrorism.

maybe we should learn a lesson over dead bodies of your relatives and talk about it in this manner on public forums accusing people who defend their country against crusaders of being proxies? How about that?

No. Thank you I dont need to go to Pakistan.

But my previous post, I think you did not understand what I was trying to say. So I am going to clarify it.

Suppose your house is raided and your relatives are dead lying on the ground.

And somebody says on a public forum, that you should learn a lesson for opposing colonialists and warlords.

                          How would you feel?

So it is okay for you that people are being killed in Afghanistan by Americans. As long as Americans allow you to sing and dance? LOL
