ISI doesn`t really disclose such numbers. Navy is very small compared to the Armed forces and air forces I am not too sure about. However the major wing in these are the ISI and Army. These are the major players not some dudes in boats near gwadar or karachi. The point of the matter is that recruiment of Pashtuns in such things as 40 % is unlikely if not a fantasy. Although there are Pashtuns who you can say are experts at pathanthob and moved up in the elite circles, they are sidelined by far by urdu speakers and Panjabis. This is the nature of the power dynamic in Pakistan (at least today).

I have a story too...one day I was thinking of posting an irrelevant story, but then..oh wait..snap I just did.
Pashton is not a nation yet, its a collection of tribes who are in continual warfare with each other and the neighbors...it will take maybe 100s more year before pashtons become a nation...if ever.

I am talking about the political definition of a nation. Again if it takes a 100 years fine fair enough....we are patient.

Its incorrect, the Pashtun are well represented in pakistani establishment, in fact if we count Pashtun of Punjabs like Kasuri Pathans, Lodi, Burki,Nazi and rest then half of pakistani etablishment are actual pashtons.

We are not patient to wait another 100 for pashtons to grown up, enough of killing suicide bombing, and madness...our only sin is to be hamwatan of pashtons and we are suffering.

And who are these 6-8 people. Please enlighten me.

P.S. if you are thinking of using Akhdar rahman as a pashtun lolzz then he is a muhajir with possible rohilla roots. These pathan muhajir claims are all over karachi...but that didn`t stop them from joining MQM and killing Pashtuns.
