There's no cherry picking here, the details matter. The details make the difference.

I've actually repeated why you're using false equivalence several times, why do you keep glossing over it as if you're scared and think repeating the false premise in your question will imply it wasn't answered? That's not how things work.

Well countless Pakistani officals across three PMs, several Generals, and intel heads have said Pakistan does not back the Taliban.

Why do you not accept these statements but you accept one single statement by one retired Pakistani official that Pakistan engineered the Taliban?

Cherry picking. This is what intellectual frauds do
"The past is not my concern. The future is no longer my concern either. One minute. One minute of everything at once. And anything before is nothing. Everything after nothing. Nothing in comparison to that one minute."

That's not the point; you're ignoring the details; that's why your accusation of "cherry picking" doesn't work; it's just you trying to find an excuse to hold to your narrative no matter how much of a fallacy it is.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

you need to quit throwing "fallacy" around, it does not make your argument anymore sound.

I have shown your use of double standards with regards to the Taliban and the Viet Minh.

I have also pointed out your willingness to believe a retired Pakistani general who says Pakistan created the Taliban while refusing to believe countless of former and current Pakistani officials who say they do not back the Taliban.

I ask you how you reconcile the two, and you just throw the "false equivalence" "dichotomy" "fallacy" from that imaginary logic class you took years ago.

And your continued refusal to answer these questions are only a laughing matter .

Were the Vietnamese stooges of Russia/China because they were backed by them ? In the same way the Taliban are stooges of Pakistan/Iran because they are backed by them?

Haha you replied twice to one single post, which tells me you're anxious. Hahaha

I'm just going to respond to both of your posts with one. There is no "refusal" to answer your question, it's obvious that you don't actually care about the Viet Cong or Vietbamese War, why would you even bring it up when we're talking about the Taliban? What you're doing is a just a typical red herring and smoke screen tactic. Your strategy that if we say Viet-Cong weren't puppets of Russia/China then we have to concede the Taliban were not puppets too!

But that's NOT how it works ....This is what I mean by false equivalence, The circumstances that surround the rise of the Taliban (Pakistani engineering, fabricating the origin of Taliban etc.) are not necessarily the same circumstances that surround the Viet Cong. In fact to be honest, I don't have much information about the Viet Cong, who knows? MAYBE you're right, they were puppets of Russia/China, but I can't comment. I can only comment on what I do know; that the Taliban are confirmed and verified to be Pakistani Engineered by Pakistani Military establishment itself.

As I said earlier, Pakistan's civilian Government is just the PR Shell of the actual core Government which is the Military, so if Pakistan says "We don't help Taliban", that's just their PR to prevent America from punishing them. Now a admission from the accused party itself is confirmation. Babar was the director of the entire Taliban campagn, who else would know better than the inventor. Babar said this at a time when Pakistan has NO strategic threat from America, so there's absolutely NO reason to have a PR campaign to "lie". Even the Pakistani Media confirms he's the Taliban architect, what need would they have to lie to Pakistanis that they're the ones who engineered the Taliban? https://tribune.com.pk/story/101748/...ar-passes-away. So you made another FALSE Equivalence, between what Pakistan says when they have a motive to save their asses from U.S. Penalty (after 9...11) and before (late 90's). Two distinct situations, operating on different variables.

SO YES, Pakistan were telling the Truth about engineering the Taliban and YES, they're LYING now about helping the Taliban because they're scared of America. AND Yes, it "works both ways" because the criteria guiding each are DIFFERENT. ...TAAAA DAAAAA! And That's why your argument is a false equvlanence and that's why it's a Fallacy. Again ...It's sad I have to break this all down for you repeatedly, even though it's pretty obvious that you're just feigning igborance. You know what your problem really is? You're going through denial. LOL

I look forward to your next round of pretending you weren't answered and simply recycling some already debunked red herring as a smokescreen.
