  • Who Really Cares About the Kashmiris?

    Pretty good breakdown of the unfortunate situation Kashmiris are in due to the insane governments of India and Pakistan. While the extremist Hindus that run India continue to mistreat Kashmiris, Pakistan doesn’t actually help and instead just uses it to inflict damage on India. They claim to care about Kashmiris, but in reality they want to conquer it instead of supporting independence which is what Kashmiris actually want. I suspect that’s also the reason most Muslims outside of Pakistan don’t really care about Kashmir. While their situation is similar to Palestine or the Rohingya, most of what we hear about it is obviously self-serving Pakistani propaganda.

    Kashmir is also a good example of why Afghanistan should stop allowing itself to become a front for the Indic wars between Pakistan and India. Neither country is run by mentally stable or rational people, so why do Afghans fight over which side to ally ourselves with? How about neither? Stay neutral and trade with both, but focus on establishing stronger relations with our Muslim neighbors to the north and west.

    Its an economic matter;
    Analysis: Why Kashmir Matters | The Diplomat

    Kashmir is geostrategically located and serves as main source of water and power generation for both Pakistan and India. The control of the region creates a zero sum game in which the control of the rivers and glacial water could pose an existential threat to the other.

      This two Indic nations are doomed to fight a new war in the coming years. This will most likely benefit Afghanistan if (only IF) Afghans manage to get themselves a brain asap and stop involving themselves in this stupid Pajeet confrontation.

      BTW in case of war I honestly believe Pakistan would win. Despite being defeated four times by India I believe Hindus are weak. The only thing that plays in India´s favor us money but I think China would help Pak just to weaken its Indian rival.

        Which would involve China getting stronger; not good at all. The things they're doing in Turkestan/Uighuristan are a warning we should heed.

        Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

                By winning I mean in military terms. There won't be any massive territorial changes. That age is gone for now. But I do believe Pakistanis have a stronger will than weak Hindus. Hindus are emotionally and physically weak people. I don't buy the Pakistani colonial inherited martial race theory but if you look at both nations, you can see how Hindus are weak. Every time a baby is raped in India you can see how easily Hindus mentally collapse when they face White people mocking them. They crack under pressure.

                Kashmir´s problem can be solved only by peaceful means. I blame Modi for the current crisis. Until he got into office, violence in Kashmir had declined sharply. He triggered a revolt with his retarded crackdown, using massive violence and killing Burhan. Hindutva´s dream of an united India under the Brahmin, Hindi and Bharats banner will die with Modi. Such diverse land can't be unified by political means.

                  I agree with you but this goes beyond our emotions and desires. India and Pak will fight a war in the coming years. Both nations are lead by retarded irrational ultranationalistic fools. And both need a war to divert attention from their domestic problems. It will benefit China which is a bad thing but I am sure Uncle Sam will help India.

                  For so many years we have been thinking that WWIII might trigger in the ME or Eastern Europe. And look at it now. It might happen in the Indian Sub.

                    Yes this is a real problem. Kashmir should be granted independence by both sides. That’s the real solution to this problem, but Paki and Indian leadership is too stupid to do what’s best for their own countries as they’re too busy trying to screw each other over.

                      A real war between nuclear powers is highly unlikely. They usually just have minor skirmishes in Kashmir. The US wants a weak Pakistan to survive since it is necessary to keep South Asia divided and weak which is why it gives it Aid even though they support an insurgency in Afghanistan. China knows this so they wouldnt need to support Pakistan against India plus the Chinese are taking advantage of Pakistan by buying up Pakistani assets like the Gwadar port.

                        Pakistan and India already fought a war when both were nuclear powers in 1999, called Kargil War. This nuclear countries dont fight each other because if they do something bad will happen is nonsense. Since then they have been engaged not only in "small skirmishes" but in a proxy war that that has caused thousands of death people on both sides.

                        Your analysis is a bit simplistic.

                          That wasn't a full scale war. India has conducted bigger operation than that on Kashmiri insurgents. The reason a full scale is war is unlikely is because the big powers would step in and stop it if it gets out of hand(the Kargil incident is a perfect example in which Bill Clinton stepped in and stopped it).

                          Non nuclear nation wars like Iran/Iraq, Yemen/Saudi, Armenia/Azarbajan, Ethopia/Somalia etc, in which cases the big powers don't care too much and are usually behind the fitna being used as proxy wars between each other(the big powers).
