  • Pashtun Tahafuz movement is flopped

The fact that PTM was unable to create storm and waves over death of Tahir Dawar, speaks volumes about its impotence and failure. The murder of Tahir Dawar (by ISI) was more heinous and troubling than Naqibullah. He was your typical "Gul Khan" of Afghanistanis and Pashtun-nationalists, a man loyally doing his duty and serving his state. Yet he was discarded like a tissue paper. This was a golden opportunity for PTM to shine by making noises that 'look even Gul Khan is not safe in Pakistan' but they could not bring out men in their "country wide protest" over murder of Tahir Dawar as announced by Manzoor Pashteen on facebook. They are done for, Manzoor Pashteen has no street power. The protests were Naqibullah were quite successful because they had also support from non-Pashtun Pakistanis. These days they are shrunk and measly like any other narrow-minded Pashtun nationalists.

The young Manzoor Pashteen was a poster boy all along or reduced to such status by much shrewd older men belonging to Pashtun nationalist parties. The movement was hijacked by ANP-walas from the get go and they used him and his "Mahsud Tahafuz movement". Mohsin Dawar of ANP and Ali Wazir used his movement as a ladder and emerged as leaders. Manzoor Pashteen promised that his men will not participate in elections but Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir disobeyed the poster boy and won seats in national assembly. Manzoor Pashteen expressed his anger and disappointment over it on facebook but was silenced. The activity, reach and say of both Mohsin Dawar and Ali Dawar has increased tremendously , and now even on social media both have more followers on twitter than Manzoor Pashteen and latter is pushed to background, reduced to largely Facebook activity. Much efficient Mohsin Dawar has taken over as representative face of PTM. No one listens to Manzoor Pashteen. He requests his followers to refrain from targeting political parties (PTI and others), welcoming people from all political background yet all of his followers are involved in ANP-ish activity.

      Grandson of Ali Ponja,
You are more loyal to king then king himself. You should know that it is not about person but the fact is a spark has been ignited in Pashtun nationalism. This is the real pressure on Punjabi state you are so in loved with. These days even Mufti Mahmood’s grandson is becoming nationalist.

His “type” is Pashtun and we dislike what you call “strong” women because they’re in actuality nothing more than westernized Trojan horses that seek to destroy our religion and culture.

Would Ahmad Shah Baba accept someone like her? Mirwais Khan? Rahman Baba?

This is the problem with Pashtun nationalism. The so-called nationalists don’t represent Pashtuns and awkwardly have to pretend to have love for our culture and our heroes while in reality they are more influenced by the likes of Karl Marx or Voltaire than any Pashtun. That’s actually why Mansoor Pashteen was so successful, and why the ANP was so jealous of him. Unlike the wannabe Indian elitist ANP leaders, we could actually relate to him.

Gulalai Ismail has acted as adviser to U.S government departments. Very suspicious. Never trust American-Pashtuns in general and ones like her in particular, they are compromised. I have noticed that American-Pashtun members here on PF cross all lines when they express their hate against Pakistani state but they never bark against American government even if she drops MOAB on Afghanistan. Either they are sacred shytless and are only allowed to bark against Pakistani state. Or they are thoroughly Americanized.

Why Shah Shuja was dismissed by Pashtun people even though he was grandson of Ahmad Shah Abdali? because he rode on the shoulders of British. There is no place for Gulalai Ismail and Zalmay Khalilzad on either side of Durand. Whatever problems and issues we have in Pakhtunkhwa of both sides, we will resolve it on our own. Americans are not welcome, even if they are Pashtuns.

Yet you need your grandpa Ali Ponja, and Punjab regiment in Pashtun land. You are dog of dog and you working effortless for your bowl of Daal. Your paki state is successor of British Raj for us Pashtuns and for past 70 years continues to follow Forward policy of Raj against us; yet you never raise your voice? What happen to your Pashtun blood? So willingly become grandson of Gujrati Ponja.

JUst because a person flaps their gums, doesn't by itself make a man/woman strong. Just like you buying Pashto books online doesns't make you a hardcore Pashtun nationalist.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

"Us Pashtuns" ......you mean the Pashtuns that dress in fancy European evening suits and parades their wives around dressed like a slapper to impress the German Kaiser so he can win their "support" ...THOSE Pashtuns?

Or the Pashtuns in Tribal Areas of Khost that had a rebellion against such cucks because of the great insult such a thing is to their values ?

I don't know the nature of Gulalai Ismai'l's involvement with the U.S. state department is, but if she's a Zalmay Khalilzad type then she most likely has dismal intentions and motivations guiding her agenda.

However, if she's legitimately calling out disparities and injustices among Pashtuns and against Pashtuins, then why should she be feared?

Maybe her involvement gives Pashtuns opportunities or allows them access to resources they can't reach. If she's a trojan horse, then she would have generic or trivial talking points.

Okay so I'm trying to get up to speed about Gulalai Ismail

What exactly is wrong with her platform, she seems to be targeting her interests on improving the conditions of Pashtun girls from rural areas.....I mean we can assume or develop conspiratorial claims that she has an agenda to corrupt these girls ...but that isn't evident by only this.

                          Any other supportive information?
