Also, according to the CIA, the Taliban are the least corrupt force in the country. I have already provided numerous reliable sources for the paki proxy myth and most Afghan gov people are bought by Pakistan, your own Atta took $25 million from Pakistan to build some school in his name.
The British intel community has a saying "there are no allies, only common interests."

Last visit to Kabul was in 2015. I have many relatives in the gov. Everything was for sale. People were talking about assassinating their political rivals and business rivals or kidnapping their children and then afterwards would go and pray. I saw drinking in the wedding halls and I heard stories of pimps. Ofcourse these people are scared of losing their easy money making schemes and ayosh lifestyle. That is a given.
So you mean that taking money from Pakistan to build a school is the same as taking money from Pakistan to blow yourself up in the middle of our cities??? You deluded, dude.

Ayashi stories have been around for decades. Its nothing new here. I know plenty of stories about how Taliban used to come to peoples homse and take away peoples daughters. Back then there was as much drugs and fasaad as there is now. The only difference is that Taliban were too stupid and had no journalism nor modern ways for people to know.

You lose your cool over some random stories about some random guys drinking alcohol but seems more than fine with Taliban dealing with drugs or committing massive crimes against civilians. Your set of values is a bit twisted, brother. Do some introspection.

Can you back this claim up with valid sources? Most humanitarian crimes especially by an insurgent group such as the Taliban have been AND would be documented by reputable organizations like UN, Amnesty or Human Rights Watch.

They would wait a few months for the outrage to die down before resuming negotiations, as people no longer believe the Taliban can actually be defeated.

the insurgency has no central command and its not really clear if this was a body guard or guards gone rogue or an actual infiltration. People like Raziq would have lots of enemies.

Neither the Taliban or Afghan government need to agree to a partition. It will be the defacto outcome if the Americans do indeed decide to cede ground in the south and east.

There will be nothing either side can do about it if the Americans decide to concentrate their military presence in only the cities and provinces they decide are worth their effort. It is not certain but it is a possibility Trump will do this.

There is no doubt Kandahar has been safer than most parts under GAR, and true, so many people say good of GAR, however there is the Atlantic article posted by BA of Shin Noorzai ravine incident. The one who wanted to push for investigations, Semple, was asked to leave Afghanistan.

But partition is against Taliban ideology, dude. Taliban are so loyal to their non existent ideology that they will fight to the last man lol

Indeed, there is not much the prostitute Afghan government nor the tribal terrorist movement can do about it. If uncle sam decides to cede those provinces and focus on safer provinces, all sides must agree.

Lets say for the sake of argument that partition happens.. would not that solve many things? Pakistan would achieve its strategic depth and its fears of being sandwiched by two hostile neighbors would wain by having a buffer zone run a proxy force. Terrorist Talibans would finally leave their caves and be forced to rule their provinces. In order to do so they must give up on their assymetric warfare so they would lose their only leverage against the USA and ANA. Non Pashtun provinces would finally get some independence from a movement and provinces that are widely regarded by many of them as a burden. Also finally we would not have a border with Pakistan, which is a disgusting country despite having some legit concerns. Duri wa dusti.

I personally do not think more nations states will solve anything. But honestly speaking, can thing gets any worse than they are right now? I do not think so. Who can this stop from happening? Warlords in the north would be more than happy. Ghani is a dog, so who cares. Most of rural Afghans, regardless of their ethnic background, do not even have a national pride. Yeah plenty of urban Afghans in Kabul, Herat or Mazar would reject this idea,.. but will they really fight to keep the country united and join hands with the Taliban?

Abdullah reacts to rumors alleging foreign forces involvement in Kandahar incident
The Chief Executive of the Unity Government Abdullah Abdullah strongly reacted to the rumors alleging the involvement of the foreign forces in the deadly Kandahar incident that left two top security officials dead.
Abdullah reacts to rumors alleging foreign forces involvement in Kandahar incident

Speaking during the meeting of the council of ministers in Kabul, Abdullah rejected the rumors as baseless and called it a conspiracy aimed at further fueling tensions and violence in the country.
Abdullah further added that the assassination of the former police chief of Kandahar General Abdul Raziq was a conspiracy hatched by the enemies of Afghanistan.
He warned that the enemies are attempting to further fuel violence by implementing their second conspiracy of spreading rumors.
This comes as the social media has been rife with the rumors blaming the foreign forces for the deadly incident in Kandahar province.
However, Abdullah said the main purpose of the rumors is to harm the unity of the Afghan people and the international partners of Afghanistan.
The deadly incident in Kandahar province on Thursday left Gen. Abdul Raziq and the provincial intelligence chief Gen. Abdul Momin Hussain Khel dead.

Pakistan wants trade access to Central Asia so they wont quit supporting a group that has common interests with their interests. You cant control cities without controlling roads that are in the rurals. The reason Kunduz and Ghazni fell is because insurgents control the roads that lead to the city. The Afghan gov is on borrowed time. The US is just throwing money away which is exactly what OBL wanted.

Pakistan can trade with Central Asia anytime. There is something called "accords" and "trade treaties". Pakistan is already engaged in trade with Afghanistan. They just refuse to allow trade when its between Afghanistan and India. The failed Pakistani state can trade with Talibanistan. I am pretty sure they will get rich by buying and selling opium.

Just sharing the opinion of the people from the city of Kandahar who are very sad after his death. They don’t necessarily miss him as a person, but as I mentioned, the stability he brought. If you didn’t stand in his way, challenge his corruption, or question his motives, etc, you could feel safe. That’s a feeling a lot of Kandaharis miss.

I wouldn’t compare his stability to what the Taliban brought, which was by sheer force, and it impacted your personal life in a far greater way. Under Razzaq, you actually had freedom, for as long as you didn’t come in his way.

He was certainly corrupt, and has the bloods of many on his hands. Many are fearful for the future.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

So they miss fearing him. I doubt those poor noorzai in the villages that he mostly targeted miss him. If by freedom you are talking about the freedom to drink, sexually abuse children, steal the national treasure, then you are correct.

Lets be honest, Both used sheer force. Using an iron hand doesnt work long term unless you convince the people that the iron hand is the hand of god like the Taliban did. It cant be man law that the iron hand enforces, it must be a law that the people believe is gods law, then it works cause people wont rebel against it since they believe it is justice. In Afghanistan, Kings that were successful either left the people alone like Zahir Shah or they came with the message of Shariah. In the Afghan mind, Shariah represents Justice. The current Afghan constitution will not work and neither would Raziq's law of fear. His demise was inevitable and so is the current Afghan constitution since its written by an American Jew and everyone knows it which is why the shrewd Afghan goes in and steals instead of actually trying to make the constitution of the gov work. they know it wont work which is why in their minds, the smart thing to do is steal as much as possible until the inevitable collapse.

Nawaz Sharif was trying to create some kind of a NAFTA with India and Afghanistan but the Pak Army deposed him over the plan. The US seems to be choosing the PAk Army over Nawaz Sharif since Nawaz Sharif was creating an atmosphere of cooperation between neighbors so US actions makes sense according to theory of Realism in International Relations.

The Pak army wont stop supporting groups that have common interests with them, They want leverage over India over central Asian trade so your partition wont work. If you move all your people to Siberia, the pakis will leave you alone but then you have Chinese moving there slowly. Its bad geography our people live in buts its always better to work with your neighbor than against them.

Can you please link the source about a NAFTA style agreement ? Nawaz was a puppet of the Pak army just like all previous PMs after Bhutto (who was hanged).

Pakistan has always been a banana republic. Imran Khan is no puppet of the Pak Army. He has constantly questioned their slavery
