Yes Trump himself is a degenerate but the people he represents(his base) have conservative values. The party political system is a flawed system since people don't vote for the qualities of the person that is running but they vote on party lines so whoever the party nominates gets voted in no matter how degenerate that person is and that person is usually picked by the establishment who are corrupt and are degenerates themselves. The conservative wing of the republican party have much sway since every republican presidential candidate including trump had to pick someone from their camp as a running mate.
Trump wont change much because the Liberals are too militant and very aggressive. The conservative wing know that Trump is a degenerate, they voted him as a disruption to as they put it "bitchslap" the republicans. He is there to punish the republicans not the democrats.

Their man is Pence, impeaching Trump just puts their man at the top.

The USA has reached a point of no return: Liberalism has finally cracked and the American society is split along several and diverse ideological lines. I do not believe all those who voted for Trump were conservatives. 63 million of Americans voted for him out of despair, hatred, frustration or necessity. I doubt the Alt-Right is a conservative movement, for example. Its entire existence revolves around hating Feminists, Muslims, Jews, and so on. No real set of values in there.

Trump has already changed many things. Here in Europe fascist and illiberal governments/ideas have become mainstream and socially accepted. Before Trump it was unthinkable. The political discourse in the Western world has changed since Trump got into the White House. Thats a victory for him.

But in the long term, imo conservatives will lose. The USA and Canada are Liberal countries by nature. Many things will change but the core foundations of the Anglo world will live on. Conservatives are just too weak, too st*pid, too coward to defeat Liberals militant activism. Since the beginning of the Culture Wars in the 90ths, Liberals have systematically destroyed Conservatives in almost every field: they destroyed patriarchy, emasculated Western men, destroyed Christianity, reverted gender roles, allowed millions of third worlders to pour into their countries, ruined traditional family, trans mania,.. and the only thing left for them to destroy is Trump and the Second Amendment which are a matter of time. The Liberal establishment is just too powerful and not even the president of the USA can defeat it.

This is actually a good thing. Liberals are a threat to our values but they are not a threat to our children. But the Alt Right and other right wing nuts wants to kill us. Although I would gladly support them against the insanity of the left, but their hatred for Muslims is just too irrational and deep-rooted. They will be destroyed and I am more than happy.

BTW here in Europe things are a bit different. Western European countries are not Liberal by nature like the USA. Unlike in the USA ethnicity and history play key roles in the European identity. But at the same time, all Europeans are Liberals. We do not have "conservative" Europeans. All of them are Liberals. Right wing is more like "classical Liberals" while Lefties are a mess, a mishmash of modern and social Liberalism. Either way, they are all pretty much the same.

Pat Buchanan book, "The Death of the West" talks mostly about dying populations. He says the trigger is leaving the "path of God" and embracing hedonism, abandoning our biological purpose of reproduction ie family values. He argues that western man has decided he can disobey god without consequence and become his own god. He says that liberals endorse everything that is against this biological purpose ie abortion, homosexuality, sexual experimentation etc.
He talks about some gay man(I forgot his name) who was beaten to death and the media was abuzz about it so the whole nation can cry for him but at the same time a teenage girl was also raped and beaten to death and no one shed a tear for her who got no media coverage.

His arguments are correct. When certain populations decline, it is inevitable that other populations will take over that land.

He is kind of like the American version of Syed Qutb who also argued similar things. Syed Qutb was arguing that for all people where Buchanan is only argueing for his own white people.
