Seems the Knesset voted right now in favor of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request to grant him the authority to declare war with only the defense minister's approval in extreme situations.

This comes just after Israel bombing last night several Iranian bases in Aleppo and Hama. Ayatollah Khamenei declared today that Iran will start retaliating against Israel.

Khamenei: Any who enter conflict with Iran 'will be hit multiple times' | The Times of Israel

Something is brewing. Israel doest scr*w around when it comes to its own security and future. Its the only country in the world that when it draws a red line.. nobody should dare to cross it. It seems also 100% sure that USA will cancel the Iranian deal within few days and impose new sanctions on Iran.

We are about to witness a new escalation. Iran will be forced to leave Syria as I pointed out several times before. Sometimes might also happen in Iran. Social instability is just growing out of control. We might witness new massive protests.

The irony of all this is how weak Russia looks like now. All the money and blood spent and if Israel bombs the hell out of Iranian assets, it will be just a waste of money and resources and Assad´s regime will collapse. Unless Israel is trying to create some sort of buffer zone in southern Israel but thats unacceptable for the ayatollah regime. Putin is a paper tiger. He cant do much. Bad days ahead for putinbots lol

BTW I said this before and I will repeat it once again: while Israel, Iran, USA, KSA and Russia are going to fight each other to the last Syrian, Erdogan is keeping silent. Nor Israel, neither Russia or KSA can fill the gap left in case of Western withdraw (which is a matter of time) and Iranian collapse (which is also a matter of time). Only Turkey is economically, demographically and politically strong enough to fill the vacuum. Most of Syria, Lebanon, northern Iraq (Sunni provinces) will bow to Turkey. We are about to witness a geopolitical earthquake that will be a turning point in modern history of the ME, IW and by extension world order.

Wow Israel is really powerful for such a small country. Iran could literally nuke them out of the world map if they had enough rockets, Israel being so small region

Iran is not in any danger of collapsing, its influence might contract with Trump leaving the Iran deal but still they are better positioned than any Sunni Arab state since most Sunni Arab states depend on US for protection.
Turkey does not want to have anything to do with the Arabs, their only concern in Syria are the Kurds. Right now, Asad is looking like he will stay and the Sunni Arabs are the main losers. Asad has already begun confiscating property and auctioning them off to his own backers who are Lebanese Shia, Iraqi Shia and Iranians who will most likely repopulate the areas where Sunni Arabs have been forced to leave.

Iran is weak. There is a growing social instability. Rial is in free fall. And I am 100% sure Trump wont just withdraw from the nuclear pact, he will also impose new sanctions on Iran that will further destabilize that country and make the social situation too unbearable for the regime. This will also further harm Western unity for Europeans are pro-deal (too much money at stake) and I wonder if they will dare to push for a separate deal with Iran.

Turkey wants everything to do with its former provinces. Erdogan last week claimed that wherever his ancestors rode, he will go as well. Neo-Ottomanism is the main driver in modern Turkish politics. I am very happy that Kemalism is dying.

Regarding Assad, you are right:he is "ethnic" cleansing those Sunni Arabs who rose against him. Ghoutta, Yarmouk, now Northern Homs pocket, Aleppo, Homs, Zabadiyyah, Qalamoun, etc. But I believe Assad regimes is a failure. Russian airpower, 40k Shia Jihadis, Sunni stupidity and regional geopolitical shifts, saved that regime. As long as those factors remain, the regime is safe. But if they change.. well regime wont survive too long.

BTW I wonder, just for the sake of argument, what will happen to all those SHia mercenaries deployed by Iran all over the ME, in case of regime collapse. Will the new pseudo-Aryan nationalist regime give up on thousands of fanatics willing to die for Iran or the Iranian expansionism will continue now in the name of nationalism instead of Vilayat-e Faqih?

Iran and Israel are playing in a concert.
The aim is to give another political power.
Iran wasn't **** before 11 September and now thanks to constant fan threats they have gained alot of influence.
