  • War on Bashar is imminent

    Trump´s new tweet:

"Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"

So, war is looming. USA+France+UK are going to bomb the hell out of Assad. Also seem Bashar´s family has fled to Teheran. Babykiller is scared like a chicken. Israel has also warned that in case of Iranian retaliation, Assad will be toppled.

Senior security officials: If Iran acts against Israel, we'll topple Assad - Arab-Israeli Conflict - Jerusalem Post

Russian ambassador to Lebanon has claimed that Russia will shoot down American missiles.

S*it is getting out of control and escalating quickly. What do you think?

I personally believed that most of strikes would be just "symbolic", just like the ones USA launched a year ago. But now I am not sure. Also I believe that Russian answer wont be too strong. Russia´s position in Syria is weaker than people think.

A month ago, USA killed over 200 Russian mercenaries.. and Russia did nothing. Israel is bombing Russian asset and allies at will, deep into Syrian territory (T4 bombing this week is a good example of it) which goes against agreements between Russia and Israel over spheres of influence (Israel was allowed to intervene in southern Syria and thats it) but now Israel is just bypassing Russia and striking deep into Syrian territory. Also northern Syria seems lost to Turkey now. Two days ago Lavrov asked Turkey to hand over Afrin to the regime. Turkey showed the middle finger. Also the Astana talks have proved to be a failure.

My point is that Russia is weak and just took advantage of Western weakness. But now things are changing fast. When Putin jumped in in 2015 and Obama said that Syria was a "quagmire" and Russia was making a mistake, people laughed. Putin expected a short campaign and a quick victory. He even ordered troops to withdraw in 2016 just to order re-deployment after few months. But now seems that Russia is really stuck in a quagmire.

My prediction was and now it seems more plausible than ever, that Russia will fail. West is going to leave sooner or later (they failed too) and Iran is facing a growing domestic opposition to the regime and to interventionism. Israel cant fill the vacuum left and KSA has not the human or material resources to become regional hegemon. Syria and most of the ME will bow to Turkey once this war is over. Its a matter of time.

      Let Prophecies be fulfilled Amin.

      Protect yourselves InshaAllah.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Makes sense from a historical point of view, but we'll see. Erdogan is really popular among Muslims, so he definitely has a much better chance at being the major force in the ME compared to a unpopular loser like Muhammad bin Salman or Israel.

Its true that Erdogan is a quite popular leader in the Islamic world but imo ME countries will bow to Turkey because it will be the only powerhouse left. Also Turks have been leading Islamic states/nations/armies for almost 8 centuries. There is a prestige in there.

Also Turkey got a great geopolitical location, with a huge and growing population, stable economy and strong army. No other country in the Islamic world can match Turkey except Iran. But this country is out of the equation since Safavids imposed Shiism five centuries ago. SO only Turkey is left.

Europe and the ME will be scared of the new Eurasian power: the islamic republic of Turkey.

Israeli airpower will remove or reduce Iran's troops as well as their affiliated Shia militias. In the last couple weeks, Israeli leaders have repeatedly been messaging to the US and the region that they will not tolerate an Iranian presence in Syria. The record shows that whatever Israel states it will do- it does.

I agree with you that Turkey will retake areas from an Iranian force which will eventually withdraw from Syria to Iraq.

Without Iran (IRGC), the Assad regime is history. Russian airpower can not replace Iran's Shia forces, and Russia has no staying power without Iran.

Syria has been using chemical weapond for years and no one has been really saying anything about it. The current US attack is just so trump can reflect media attention from his sex scandal and Comey book.

Israel wants the war in Syria to last as long as possible. Their warplanes would bomb Asad forces and ISIS forces depending on who had the dominant position. It is in their interest for neither to be dominant so they can use one against the other and they can focus their energy on each other. This was also Obama's policy. Trump put an end to that by choosing Asad and Russia over ISIS who were the only two choices he had.

Abu Ivanka may be a "khar" but he is better than the alternative who's policies kill millions with no mercy and no one even realizes the affects of those murderous policies.
