  • Just exactly who is fighting for this "Azadi"?

Norak and Muhammad Khair Tapey - YouTube

A song for the "independence" of Pashtunkhwa (at 2:28 they call it "d inqilab masty naary").
The singers are Norak Chamanwala and Mohammad Khair.

The main lyric is "d Pashtano zalmo d para, d Pashtunkhwa d azady naary wahuma"

At 01:16 the singer comments on how average Pashtuns "d azady pa naara sar na khlasawina"

Another good line "d har maraz mareez jorezhi, d ghulamy mareez nakam la dunya dzeena"

Absolutely beautiful part at 04:20 - "daa inqilab ba bya la rasi, chi Pashtana Pashtunistan azadawina" and at 06:13 "muzh azady pa khob ki winu, d watan ghro ki mi rasezhi bayraqoona"

I'll close with (at: 02:31): "zalmyano patsy pa watan wky nangoona" - youths rise up and honor your homeland

Not really a comment on you, but people feel special when surrounded by different people. But the novelty of being part of X ethnicity goes out of the window, as soon as all people in an enclosure are the same.

In this Pashtunistan, you would've X tribe singing songs about their own independent smaller country. lol

I honestly have nothing against Punjabis or other ethnicities for that matter. However, it is these kind of stupid comments likes yours, that gives bad name to wider range of people, in this case Punjabis. You guys are showing unprecedented ignorance and stupidity. First of all, you live with 50 million Pashtuns in your country and you guys are desperate to hold onto them. Then tell me, why don't you know even the basic about Pashtuns. All your knowledge is based of ignorance and stereotypes.
Second of all, you guys lack basic world knowledge. I have yet to come across a Punjabi who haven't had some idiotic and ignorant worldview.

Let me educate you a bit and explain you why there wont be ''independence'' movement for different tribes. First thing you need to know, that Pashtun people aren't so tribe fixed as you may think. Tribes in politics, family life or any other social event have no influence. If anything a region may be more influential than tribes. To give you an idea what tribe means to Pashtuns, it is basically what a surname is for you people. That is all a tribal name come downs to.

Another thing you couldn't comprehend. People seek unity based of common culture, language etc. Which means, a divided people who shares a common culture, would always have a pulling factor toward each other. It has nothing to do with ''novelty''. People mind work as a survival mechanism. People seek people with the same culture to create a stronger entity, so their chance of survival gets better or they get in better power situation. This is also why the majority in a civilization(modern cases countries) will always do everything in their power to have grip on minority, because the minority will eventually melt into the majority. This is also why Punjabis ergo you and your people, would do absolutely anything to not let go of your minorities. Its the animal instinct, which is very strong with indic people, particular Punjabis.

So to sum it up, so Punjabis can also understand it. Then no, there will not be any independence song for ''tribes''.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

Just a comment - I can imagine the people of Waziristan wanting their own separate state. Even other Pashtun tribes have always recognized their autonomy and there are (slight) differences between them and other Pashtuns. However its equally likely that Waziristan could flourish as part of an Azad Pashtunistan because they are still Pashtuns first as a whole and then Wazirs/Maseeds/Dawars/ etc.

I don't care what you say about Punjabis. Tbh, that's not even an ethnic group. just bunch of people squeezed in one area, and grouped as one. I identify as a Muslim Mughal descendant/survivor or as The Last Mughal. I live and breathe the Mughal way of life, the Mughal mentality.

O tuwanu Rab da wasta ai veer g plz Mughalya saltanat ko bakhsh do.

If you are so inclined, make a thread explaining how on earth anyone from modern Punjab can claim a Mughal heritage?

Mughal is not even an ethnicity, it was the name of an empire founded by a Ferghana Turk (Uzbeks) whos later offspring were half-Rajasthani. they only took the name "Mughal" (Mongol) because they wanted to claim a Mongolian heritage descent from Genghis Khan. Kind of how you keep saying you're a Mughal because you want to associate yourself with the Mughal empire (and the Mughals themselves wanted to associate themselves with the original Mongol empire)

If anyone is vaguely related to/decended (hardly anyone is by blood) from the Mughals they are either modern North Indians or Muhajirs of Karachi (whose culture is derived from the Mughals) - Punjabis have Punjabi culture.

I hate songs with auto-tune too,

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
