Of course Taliban are going to deny, but the Haqqani network guys are clearly responsible for committing this massive atrocity against an innocent family. This is exactly why I created a thread criticizing the lack of chivalry among Taliban and so-called modern Jihadist groups.
Our classical Mujahideen were respected by the enemy for their code of honor and chivalry. It is unthinkable that they would ever rape a woman, let alone a married woman and then murder her child. This is the kind of disgusting behavior which makes people attack Islam.
Think about Salahuddin (rahmatullah alaih), would he ever behave like this? He was respected by the Crusaders because of his code of honor and the Muslim warriors were always known as being noble and never transgressing against innocent people, unlike the Crusaders or Mongols.
There is no honor in kidnapping innocent people especially women and children. God curses these rapists and murderers.[SIZE="4"][FONT="HardTimesW01-Roman"]My Blog

The story doesn't add up at all.
Apparently they spent 5 years in Afghanistan and only arrived in Pakistan weeks before their capture, following a US tip off. Which would imply that US were tracking them all this time in Afghanistan but refused to take action.
Media is currently reporting that they spent 5 years in Pakistan, which is a ridiculous spin. Trump is larping on about the cooperating and increased respect following his "tough words". Feels like the whole thing was a political stunt to score media brownie points.
Pakistan has been "given another chance".
All is good again apparently.
The whole thing is ridiculous and blown out.Signed

Its amazing how everyone magically ends up being rescued or discovered in Pakistan by brave Pakistani soldiers who are ever so "hospitable" and "professional". The timing for this is laughable. I have sympathy about the size of a grain of salt for these people because let's face it, if they were promised freedom at the cost of lying to the media, given their circumstances, I can not justify but understand their decision but for anyone else to think this entire little act is even a tad bit believable...
And as for the Taliban.. holding someone a captive against their will for five years is also a crime and something to be ashamed of, if not murder or rape.
And these two idiots got married in 2011 and thought it a good idea to travel to Afghanistan one year later. Nice.

The way his interview was worded , I won't be surprised if he had been fed all that by our khakis to say to the media.
A flawless recovery , no casualties on Pak's side , a few Haqqanis dead maybe(the official ISPR account mentioned the captors running away and not them being killed or wounded) , and assure the world that Pakistan and the U.S are on the same page when it comes to Taliban and Haqqani.

I don't. The more this guy talks, the more he seems crazy. He's now claiming they had him imprisoned in rooms the size of a bathtub. Imagine 5 people all staying in a room that size. Not only would they have severe muscular atrophy, but there's no way children could develop properly without having room to move around. He also claims his kids don't understand what the sun is. All this, and his kids look perfectly fine.Originally posted by marwat View Postno one believe this right?
Considering he chose to take his 7 months pregnant wife into an unknown and dangerous country, and then spent the entire time he was captive trying to have as many children as possible, I think he was probably already crazy before being captured, though 5 years of imprisonment probably didn't help him any.

the guy was previously married to some AQ dude's sister who was imprisoned in GBay and he refused to board a US plane since he feared he was going to be arrested by US authorities once in the US.
The reality is that once a westerner is kidnapped in Afghanistan, they get traded off from group to group in exchange for money until some Haqqani group gets a hold of them and then they demand prisoner exchange.
The most likely scenario is that the Pakis bought them and staged some kind of a bollywood bold rescue thing to get on the good side of Trump and the idiot Trump is falling for it. Its like the Pakis steal Trumps wallet and then tells trump they beat the robber and recovered his now empty wallet and then demands a reward. Trump wants to desperately convince Americans that his tough talk is working while the NoKo leader has labeled him a barking dog.

This story is too fishy. Its not that the Taliban are not capable of this. Those animals are capable of doing worst things, but this story just doesnt make any sense. What kind of idiot goes with his prenant wife to do hiking in Afghanistan? Why were they liberated in Pakistan and not Afghanistan? By who were they raped, where and how many times?
