Widows of Afghan Soldiers Forced to Perform 'Sexual Favors': SIGAR | Ariana News

Some widows of Afghan Army members killed in action were forced to perform sexual favors for officials before they could obtain pension benefits, U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has said.

John Sopko that the U.S. is “trying to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan people,” but “first need to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan Security Forces.”*

The Afghan Defense Ministry, however neither accepted nor rejected SIGAR’s report.

*“We are not aware of this in the Defense Ministry,” said Spokesman Dawlat Waziri. ” As soon SIGAR reported, the [Defense] minister himself has ordered a delegation to probe this issue,” he added.
Recently heard that the monkey named Ghani was telling the insurgents to "buy some watches." When Sopko exposes stuff like this - I would venture to say that the clock is ticking for him... not his opposition.

The report itself makes no mention of this as far as I can tell, and since none of the reputable news sources mentioned this in their coverage of the report (which was admittedly lacking overall), I doubt it's true.

Calling Ghani a monkey is an affront to monkeys. At least monkeys have enough ghairat to protect their tribes from foreigners. Ghani isn't even man enough to say anything about America's bombing of innocent civilians, or blatant disrespect of Islam.

Afghan news reported on this too, but I looked through the report once again and couldn't find anything.

Where is the source for this? Or did the Afghan media just regurgitate third rate Western news stories lol? It's pissed off a number of people now.
