They aren't doing anything about it because they're most likely partaking in it themselves. Not that they particularly care about the quality of their allies in the first place.
I feel like there's something to be said about the fact that the author is an Indian. Also, he's mischaracterizing the situation. It's already illegal in Afghanistan, and a lot of times the boys aren't forced, but rather are paid. Disgusting either way, of course.

Afghanistan is a lawless land. Any Godless soul with power (guns) can do as they please. I wouldnt be surprised if forreign soldiers mass rape women and kids and burry them somewhere and no one ever knows about it. They can kill an entire villages and put their bodies in mass grave, who would find out about it?

How is IT better that they are getting paid than if they were raped by use of Force?Originally posted by maneatinglizard View PostThey aren't doing anything about it because they're most likely partaking in it themselves. I think bacha bazi was prohibitted by Taliban which is One Tving I admired them for.
Afghans need to hang some bacha baazes, maybe this sexual exploitation of children can go extinct.
Lawless and Godless people can only be tamed by use of fear and punishment.

Maybe IT was unintentional on your part, but IT kinda sounds like being not forced but paid somehow made IT less evil.
Young children Dont wanna get paid to have some adult men have sex with. These kids are exploited No matter what.

Do you have proof to back IT Up that Taliban did or IT even allowed to happen under their watch?Originally posted by Karachi View PostWhy are you blaming pashtun afghan cultural practice on these soldiers? This is bacha bazi which is part of your culture, everyone is doing it, even your beloved taliban

Yes, because It is part of normal culture there, even some tried to ban it, it wasn't successful because so many Taliban soldiers would practice it: The Sexual Hyprocrisy of the Taliban | Bacha Bazi — The Nahmias Cipher Report

This article is just a person's opinion, not evidence backed research though. Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Americans turns blind eye because they need allies against Taliban.Originally posted by Karachi View PostYes, because It is part of normal culture there, even some tried to ban it, it wasn't successful because so many Taliban soldiers would practice it: The Sexual Hyprocrisy of the Taliban | Bacha Bazi — The Nahmias Cipher Report
"Afghan women and girls are subjected to forced prostitution, forced marriages—including those in which husbands force their wives into prostitution—and involuntary domestic servitude in Pakistan and Iran, and India. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) report that over the past year, increasing numbers of boys were trafficked internally. Some families knowingly sell their children for forced prostitution, including for bacha bazi - a practice combining sexual slavery and child prostitution, through which wealthy men use harems of young boys for social and sexual entertainment. Other families send their children with brokers to gain employment. Many of these children end up in forced labor, particularly in Pakistani carpet factories. NGOs indicate that families sometimes make cost-benefit analyses regarding how much debt they can incur based on their tradable family members.[6]"
