    Remember PF user Jasmine ?

    Well she is a journalist who had very strong views on this forum, particularly when it came to supporting an ongoing war in Afghanistan. In such style, she cast of her support for war as being in favor of peace.

    A few times she became very threatening towards me for my Anti-War views.

    As a TV journalist, she is very outspoken when it comes to her support for continued foreign military intervention and war in Afghanistan so she is no hypocrite.

    Anyone heard from her?

    which News show was she on?

    Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

      It is a major news channel- and she is Afghan-Tajik- quite established.

        She is a good news presenter. Her reporting on many global issues is very thorough. However, when it comes to Afghanistan, her bias in favor of continued foreign military intervention is out in the open. In fact, she sees no issue with it. I always thought news reporters/journalists were not supposed to give their opinion- I mean that is the unofficial standard of news reporting.

          I remember she was a weirdo and ran away from arguments she could not logically defend. Her account and all her posts have been deleted.

            Yalda Hakim. She is a very good journalist/TV presenter,but when it comes to Afghanistan, she is very in favor of continued foreign military intervention.
