  • Do Hazara refugees shame Afghanistan?

The reputation of Afghans in Europe has been taking a nose dive for a couple of years now. Not just in public perception in countries like Germany and Sweden, but governments across Europe have been rounding up and deporting Afghans especially. Most, probably all, European Union countries are refusing to consider most Afghans as refugees these days.

When i look into the topic of Afghan refugees in Europe, particularly Germany and Sweden, most seem to be Hazaras.

I have watched many videos of Hazara refugees trying to get asylum in Europe. Most of them look like fake refugees to me. What Europeans call the "economic migrants". Basically useless people with no skills, so they ditch Afghanistan thinking they are going to find jobs, women, material gain etc in Europe. You can clearly see that most of these people are not fleeing from 'persecution' by Taliban because they come from parts of the country where the only threat from Taliban is terrorism, but not direct, personal persecution. They also always seem to be interested in only trying to make friends with German and Swedish women,

Are Hazaras shaming Afghanistan and making it harder for genuine Afghan refugees to be given asylum and support abroad? I think that they are. I am not saying that all Hazaras are faking it, some of them are genuine, but from what i've seen most of them seem to be fake and only want to go to Europe for material gain. A few videos i saw were absolutely pathetic.

There is a backlash in Europe against Afghan migrants, fake refugees and criminals are the cause of it. Hazaras seem to be at the heart of it.

Im living in sweden and can corfirm that most of them are hazaras. They even supposedly had this whole campaign in europe preaching about how pashtuns are terrorists and shouldnt be accepted as asyum seekers. Most of these guys are not only faking that thry came from war but alot of them will claim they are christians and openly refute islam saying dumb **** like "how can i believe in a book that is 1400 years old". They are famous for being sexual harassers(some pastuns have been reported to do it but these guys somehow can get out of being arrested for it).

I dont know why but Hazaras generally have this vibe of being a useless, inferior kind of people. I am talking about just the younger Hazara males in general, not them all as a people or individually. Maybe i have just come across the inferior ones and not enough normal ones. Hazara females always seem to outperform the males in every possible way and actually are said to be excelling ahead of most other groups in Afghanistan, but i dont know how true that is.

Hazaras saying they are Christian is just a desperate tactic to try and get asylum in Europe. Iranian 'refugees' sometimes do the same. Hazaras probably learned that from them.

I find it funny when these pathetic 'refugees' go to Europe and start trying to dress up like rappers and wear fake jewellry and stupid baseball caps and try to have an 'attitude'. They just reveal themselves to be the useless sc*mbags and charlatans trying to cheat other people into thinking that Taliban has been 'persecuting' them and will 100% 'kill them' if they went back to Afghanistan. We all know that for most of them that is a lie.

You are also right about the sexual harassment. This is unfortunately one of the things that is negatively destroying the name of ALL Afghans at the moment in Europe, along with the obvious fake persecution stories by 20 or 30 something year old Hazara males, many that pretend to be younger!

This reminded me of something. Racism trigger warning.

Bundus do the same. Seriously. Indian bundu sikhs pretend to be from Afghanistan (obviously jumping on the bandwagon) to get asylum in the UK. LOL!

Afghan Sikhs: one of the most vulnerable minorities in the world - Telegraph

The Sikhs of Afghanistan are one of the world’s smallest and most vulnerable minorities.

Numbering no more than a few hundred families, they have endured persecution both from the Taliban and wider society in a country that is 99 per cent Muslim.

In addition, only a handful of Sikhs are left in Afghanistan: the vast majority live in India, particularly in Punjab. If, for the sake of argument, the arrivals at Tilbury are actually from India, they might choose to claim to be Afghans to reduce the risk of being deported.
The group is highly unlikely to be carrying passports or any other identity documents, so it will be far from simple for the UK Border Agency to establish their true nationality.
One possible method would be to discover what languages they understand. If the arrivals really have come from Afghanistan, then they would probably know Pashto, the language of the biggest ethnic group, or Dari, the nearest thing the country has to a lingua franca.
If, on other hand, they are actually from India, then they would probably converse in Punjabi.
No British-born, English-speaking official will be able to establish their true origins with any certainty. In the end, this is a task for skilled translators with ties to the Indian sub-continent.

What is a "fake refugee"?? Are you saying that they are lying about having to escape circumstances that does not allow them a peaceful environment to live in in Afghanistan or that they are not afghans to begin with??
And what are these "skills" that they are lacking which the rest of afghans have?? Can you name some of these skills??

They dont have any rights to claim asylum abroad. They are not being persecuted by the Afghan state or by Pashtuns. That is why European countries are rounding them up and deporting them back to Afghanistan, just like they have quietly been doing to illegal, shameless Pakis that tell lies about where they come from and why they are trying to live in Europe.

When the EU signed a deal with Turkey to 'take back' illegal migrants that have crossed into Europe from Turkey the first people kicked out of Greece were all Pakis.

Its unfair to say that Hazara's are any worse than other people from Afghanistan.

There are Pashtun, Tajik and Uzbek criminals, rapists, gays, christians, atheists, people who claim asylum because they have had sex out of wedlock in home country. All sort of stuff.

They're all people and when there is war, everyone flees. The good and the bad.

The reason why you see more Hazara's here in Europe is because they are privileged. They have more money, more connections, more resources and plus they come from Iran and Syria.

That doesn't mean thousands of other Afghans from other ethnicities are somehow any better.

I do have to say that overall, People from Afghanistan and Pakistan are usually pretty decent people.

Most refugees who are causing problems here are Iranians, Iraqis and some North-Africans.

I don't know much about the Hazara situation in Europe to comment, but it seems to me, that a lot of commentary is an attempt to offset personal shame by co-opting it to Hazaras. Generally, in North Ameirca Hazaras do have more money, but because they're not marrying two wives from Gardez and leeching welfare as I have seen Pashtun and Tajik families do here. Instead they work hard and get an education. I will say it is true that this is mainly women......I've actually never met a Hazara guy in America. I meet lots of Hazara women, most are married to Turkish or Iraqi guys .....for some reason.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Hazaras or anyone else wanting to leave Afghanistan right now is totally understandable, but most of them in Europe wont pass the criteria for refugees and they know that, thats the crux of the problem that is turning public opinion against Afghans. They are illegal migrants trying to get to mainly Germany or Sweden, two countries that also have nothing to do with Afghanistan.

Some cases of very gruesome crimes, rape and then sometime murder after rape (some of them carried out by teenage boys against teen girls and older women) by Afghan 'refugees' in Germany and elsewhere have also been particularly damaging to the image of Afghans generally (but this is not to say Hazaras are to blame).

It is beyond the point actually of public opinion 'turning'. It has already turned into policy of European countries refusing to consider Afghans as refugees now, and trying to round up and deport as many Afghans as possible. I could be mistaken, but i am under the impression that Hazaras are way over represented in the number of Afghans recently arriving in Europe and being refused entry into many countries and being deported from ones they are already in.

Maybe in North America the situation is different, and better.
