Pakistan has a population of over 200 million and has 45 million hectres of arable land while Afghanistan has a population of 35 million with 25 million hectres of arable land. There are vast areas of Helmand, Kandahar and Farah province which can be turned into fertile lands by building canals from Helmand river and buildings dams but 80% of water flows into neighnouring countries. Its not that Afghanistan doesnt have fertile lands or water, its just bad governamce and constant wars which is the main obsticle. Afghanistan has more than enough fertile land to meet its domestic needs. It just needs to utilise its resources properly.
A corrupt gov will never use those resources for their own people but sell them for pennies no the dollar to neighboring nations to fill their own pockets.

Calm your nerves man. You are assuming things. First you wrongly assumed from my post that i was declaring Afghans to be bad people , now you are wrongly inferring from my post that i am talking about Farsi influence being bad on Pashto.......whats wrong with your head? heavy Farsi accent makes Pakistan Pokiston, i was talking about that.

I'm afraid this post isn't logical.

If Balochistan is independent then pashtuns will not benefit from it. Afghanistan may make some deal to use Gwadar port like it already has with Iran or Pakistan. But if you think Baloch will allow unrestricted access to foreigners then one most be living in lalaland.

Gwadar being part of Pakistan directly benefit pashtuns. Not afghani ones though so I can understand why Afghanistan wanted Gwadar under it's control, if only wishes were horses. Gwadar is not diamond producing factory but port. You have to invest there to get out something and take advantage of huge Pakistani market.

Pakistan handed over Gwadar port to China for 40 years in return they will develop it but also keep most of the revenues for themselves. If China doesn't have direct link with Gwadar then it losses must of its charm and become just another port. For Gwadar to be success like Karachi then Pakistan most remain as one.

Also most of Afghanistan land is not suitable for farming, your figures are wrong.

water is just one of the problems

Why wouldn't the Baloch provide access to the Afghans (in this hypothetical scenario)? There's no reason why a new Baloch nation wouldn't give access to India or Afghanistan considering both countries indirectly (sometimes directly) support their independence.

Read my post again. I said they will give access to port like Pakistan already does or Iran. But it will not benefit Pakistani pashtuns directly unlike under Pakistan. Afghani pashtuns will not benefit in either case whether Balochistan is independent or with Pakistan.

Why are you getting excited? Seaside resorts mean foreigners coming in with their beghairat practices.

Because Balochistan is inside Pakistan . What kind of retarded question is that ?

hopefully these beaches remain the way they are, too much development and people flooding the place from other parts will just turn this coast into another ****hole

That has already started . Gwadar's population will grow to 2 million in a decade . Land is also getting expensive .

Land rush around Pakistan's Gwadar port triggered by Chinese investment
                              | Reuters

Pakistani real estate giant Rafi Group made a ten-fold profit last year from its sale of hundreds of acres of land in the remote fishing town of Gwadar, acquired soon after the government announced plans for a deep-sea port there.

The windfall came after 12 years of waiting patiently for the Gwadar port to emerge as the centrepiece of China's ambitious plans for a trade and energy corridor stretching from the Persian Gulf, across Pakistan, into western Xinjiang.

"We had anticipated the Chinese would need a route to the Arabian Sea," Rafi Group Chief Executive Shehriar Rafi told Reuters. "And today, all routes lead back to Gwadar."

Gwadar forms the southern Pakistan hub of a $57-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) of infrastructure and energy projects Beijing announced in 2014.

Since then, land prices have skyrocketed as property demand has spiked, and dozens of real estate firms want to cash in.

"Gwadar is a 'Made in China' brand and everyone wants a piece," said realtor Afzal Adil, one of several who shifted operations from the eastern city of Lahore in 2015.

The volume of Gwadar property searches surged 14-fold on Pakistan's largest real estate database, Zameen.com, between 2014 and 2016, up from a prior rate of a few hundred a month.

"It's like a gold rush," said Chief Executive Zeeshan Ali Khan. "Anyone who is interested in real estate, be it an investor or a developer, is eyeing Gwadar."

As for Karachi its a city of 30 million people . You will get some dirty beaches in the busy areas but if you go off the beaten tracks you will find some nice beaches there like Cape mount , French Beach , Turtle Beach etc .
