  • Comments on "Big K Ultra" Karzai's outburt on MOAB and Ghani?

Interesting conundrum for the "we are not occupied" + "Big K Ultra Karzai is the leader of the century" + "Karzai for mishr hall of fame" crowd:

    Here at a few snippets:

In an interview with The New York Times, hours after he said he intended to work toward “ousting the U.S.,” a fuming Mr. Karzai said there was no justification for the United States to drop the powerful bomb in Afghanistan. The weapon, the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, is referred to as the “mother of all bombs.”
It's an intellectual Chinese finger trap of the mind for those that claim "Pashtuns are manipulated" and who somehow decided to redefine a standing Army murdering people on foreign soil as "not meeting the definition of occupation"

On the one hand "mishr" Karzai is piling it on like this:

Mr. Karzai called President Ashraf Ghani’s government an “accomplice” that allowed and welcomed the use of the bomb. Mr. Ghani’s government had said the attack, which was said to have killed dozens of militants and destroyed three large caves in Nangarhar Province, was coordinated with the United States.

“Shame on him for saying that, shame, shame,” Mr. Karzai said. “No Afghan with self-respect would do that.” He added, “He is a traitor, a traitor.”
    Check out his twitter feed:

LOL, interesting conundrum for the watan farosh brand of technocrats...

    1. "Big G" god Karzai says one thing and little "g" god Ghani is on a complete other page. How to reconcile the warring of two divinities for those that bend over backwards to justify the occupation of Afghanistan?

    2. Big K Ultra makes it clear he no longer recognizes the government:
    Twitter

I as a citizen of this country can no longer consider NUG as my representative
    He goes on to say:

    Twitter

It is upon us, Afghans, to stop the USA
S-hit man, lol, you set the stage for the SOFA agreement and now the theatrics and histrionics when the next monkey-donkey hybrid in line acts on your protocols?

Oh well, I guess we can let this secular "schism" settle to where it may as the schizophrenics attempt to reconcile their life choice of selling their land for secondary gain (goodies, toys, a computer in the house etc) with the concept of what occupation mean and doesn't mean when their two leading lights are in conflict over the definition lol.

As a caveat - if Big K has come around and actually does finally recognize the error of his ways - no need to mock him as it would be a positive thing for him to finally admit his error of assumption and design (his idiotic "balance the forces" way of governing as if he could manipulate world powers and balance their interests to a net benefit for Afghans).

However, being who he is with his history of saying one thing and doing another - I suspect some political motivation behind this (hence his meeting with the Russians subsequently).

Well may be the Russian ambassador initiated to meet him, should that make him a suspect? It's not the first nor the last time he will meet s foreign diplomat.
He can't run for the office constitutionally. So what political motivation could there be?

Will the Ruskies-Pakistan+Talibanskis balancing yield any result?

He was lashing at the US back when he was "stooge 1." He started his complaining like a woman phase when he realized that authors were labeling him a modern Shah Shuja. He is under the impression that his verbal theatrics will give his defenders ammunition that he was no Shah Shuja but more like Wazir Akbar Khan. Lol

Well, he still seems to play a role when he wants to. A set of examples would be his earlier forays back into politics when Ghani was doing some cadet exchanges with Pakistan etc.

I try to give him to the benefit of the doubt but the fact of the matter is when you see those kill team pics and the horrible things done, for example, by Zik Kandahari and the fact that no one was held responsible during his tenure... I have a hard time believing him.

Who knows? Perhaps he wants to regain (retain?) clout.

The sense of what he is saying I do not at all disagree with. I have and will continue to state that Kharij presence is the biggest reason for these groups to exist in the first place. Its merely his output and actions that convince me to hold my breath or to take his words with a pinch of salt as they say.

My sincere hope is that he has seen the light. That would be a big accomplishment.

It's a new energy drink about to hit the market this summer. Look for it at fine retailers everywhere.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

He along with whoever else comes in power under the circumstances that he did, will have the least amount of power while in office. Having said that, he is a known figure in a society where individuals are lynched in broad daylight for committing "blasphemy". Dropping a couple of randomly contradicting statements to shift the mindset of such people should be A) a piece of cake and B) the easiest way of making the headlines.
Should the government collapse in the near future, he will have no problem with coming forward as the leader of one of the various groups fighting for power in Afghanistan, whether the constitution allows him or not.

Karzai and gang knew the light from day 1, he and others in his camp are of the idea "if I don't do it and make money in the process, someone else would, so might as well take advantage of the situation."

Yes. That is exactly how immoral people like you think. If a woman is getting gang raped, immoral people like you would join in because someone else is doing it, might as well take advantage?
