Nigeria is slightly ahead on per capita terms but behind in HDI , Happiness report , Infrastructure , life expectancy etc .

    World Happiness Report - Wikipedia

Data is collected from people in over 150 countries. Each variable measured reveals a populated-weighted average score on a scale running from 0 to 10 that is tracked over time and compared against other countries. These variables currently include: real GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity, and perceptions of corruption. Each country is also compared against a hypothetical nation called Dystopia. Dystopia represents the lowest national averages for each key variable and is, along with residual error, used as a regression benchmark.

    Pakistan 80
    Nigeria 95

So you're both failed states in other words ....point taken lol

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Economic potential isn't a measure of how successful a state is. China is a superpower yet a lot of their population lives in misery, India is the same case.

Problem with Pakistan is that it doesn't have its own vision. It's still trapped in the politics of 1947 with the notion of India being out there to destroy it, when in fact it's the other way around. It has failed to establish itself as a transit hub from Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent, which basically would've been our strongest point. Our biggest advantage is our geographical position.

Instead, we've supported terrorism. 'Good' terrorists roam around with impunity. The port of Gwadar has been sold to China. Gilgit-Baltistan has already been occupied by Chinese workers. Baloch hate Pakistan. Don't want anything to do with it. Religious minorities are dying. Social media activists are picked up by law-enforcement agencies.

          List goes on...

I feel your pain . Afghans have been so miserable for 4 decades now that even a roadside accident in Pakistan makes them happy . Seeing Pakistan develop so fast must be painful to watch .

That's not true, we just want you to face reality. Any human life lost is tragedy, but this that doesn't mean you have to hide under false narrative and bravado

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

bcoz only an indian would put india on a high moral position while a pakistani would tend to see that situation in pakistan is slowly but surely moving in the right direction our politics is largly centered around issues of people and society instead of cow meat or isolating others or placing religious fanatics on top positions in gov. every mainstream political party is trying to be extra friendly to minorities in pakistan while in india its ghar wapsi or haramzaday stuff...
finding faults in china or pakistan is not the solution no one is without faults india is perhaps with a much longer list
if u feel india is not sponsoring terrorism to further its goals than god bless you you are amazing.

You're above Nigeria in terrorism, but below in GDP.

The only positive contribution of Pakistan is sending women to Western countries to become porn stars . Which explains why you're so anxious for nightclubs
