Hate of Pakistani Pashtuns for the words Afghan and Afghanistan

He would not be surprised though......what he see today will be Pashtuns repeating their history..........Pashtun people are remarkably readable and predictable

From experience of speaking with Pashtuns from lar o bar, living in the west or back home. It seems as if those Pashtuns living in the west are confused as to associate themselves with Afghanistan or Porkistan. I've actually pushed a few into reading about their roots and reconsidering what they claim to be.

Pashtuns living back home mostly don't care. There are a few that will actually stand up for their true motherland while others seem to have been brainwashed.

Pretty funny how Pashtuns in kpk say they're paki because where they were born in pak. However when you question that pakis themselves were born in India they shut up.

I think it's a dream of every true pashtun that we all once again unite under one name and flag again. But unfortunately some of our people are weak souls and are easily swayed.

This is a very recent phenomenon.And it is entirely due to the Pak-Afghan political climate.And it is mostly limited to the world of internet.
Among the Pashtuns in Pakistan,you will find some ultra-Pakistani nationalists that hate Afghans and Afghanistan to the highest degree.These people go to great lengths to distort historical facts and common,well-known perceptions.The stuff they say is also inconsistent and contradicts itself at times.

a) They will try to convince Pakistani Pashtuns that Afghan and Pashtun have no relation whatsoever,and that while Pashtuns have existed for 5000 years,Afghans only existed since 1747 or whenever that year is, when Ahmad Shah Baba made the empire.
b)They also say that Afghan Pashtuns are a slave nation and that they do not resist foreign occupation.
c) They say other lewd things also , such as that Afghan genes are a mixture of American and Russian due to their military presence there.(sorry for stating this but you do come across this stuff )

Basically these are mostly young Pashtun men who , due to a lack of knowledge of history combined with their hate for Afghanistan come up with all this.And many viewers who read this began to believe it , because they themselves are ignorant about this topic.

well, these are the traits of the people with surface knowledge on the topic. you should encourage them to seek for themselves and how to use brain. still if he don't care, does he matter? he should not be counted. we should work only on the cream of society, the intellect , the rest are sheep
