Its not about nationalists this and that , this whole issue exposes the priorities of deep state (Army) , which protects Punjab at all costs even if it means racial profiling of Pakhtuns....the instructions to the Police and Punjab government about keeping eye on Pashtuns are coming from ISI/Army, evident from the statements of traders and police of Punjab. Whatever is going on, reflects the decisions of new army chief Bajwa.....the politicians of Muslim league-N acts on instructions of army when it comes to the internal security and terrorism. This is the same army which shelters Haqqani network (who blows up volleyball matches in Afghanistan) and has created number of Jihadi organizations for Kashmir Jihad (some of the TTP leaders were once members of Kashmir Jihadi groups e.g Asmatullah Shaheen Bhittani, Omar Khalid Khurasani, Mast gul etc)....and yet they are blaming Afghans for every thing, and are throwing their own Pakhtuns under the bus

Haqqani is fighting for Watan to get rid of US.....If pak army is supporting him then its good thing to do...US is attacker on Afghanistan and somebody is fighting against them...
This is just propaganda about profiling from Army ? strange the army who has second largest pakhtuns in his army and officers ...There are more pakhtuns in pak army then the ANA, i can't buy this argument..It may be Nawaz and ANP/PMAP conspiracy to sideline IK ..In all this propoganda ANP will be winner ion KP, PMAP in Balochistan and Ganja in Punjab..Win win for all cronies...and thakedaar of pakhtuns for there next term too loot us again

So what if 14% of Army is Pashtun?, those Pashtun faujis will tell you that there is nothing wrong with racial profiling of Pashtun people in Punjab as most of the terrorists are indeed from FATA and some areas of KP. They will tell you that its for the greater good and for sake of watan......the fact is , Army also keep eye on their Pashtun officers and soldiers, they are not that much trusted ever since war on terror

Haqqanis are from Afghanistan. What are they doing in Pakistan?. Why Pakistan is meddling in Afghanistan internal affairs by providing sanctuary to Haqqani network?......If Haqqanis are heroes then on the basis of same logic, same can be said about TTP of Pakistan.....ideology and actions of both are same

I agree Pakistan should not interfere and shut down/close this border...
Yes keeping an eye on pashtun officers and promoting them to rank of Lt.generals heading the core of peshawar ...Doesn't coincide together..

It's funny how just 1 or 2 bomb blast happen in Punjab and all of a sudden Punjabis start doing this, while KPK, Balochistan, Sindh etc... have had countless acts of terrorism yet Punjabis didn't even say a word. just 2 weeks ago 100 people died in Sindh, but no word from Punjabis on that. This basically shows Pakistan = Punjabistan, they only care for themselves. Yet people here still proud Pakis

I live in Punjab, nothing like this happens or is happening. There are twice as many as Pashtuns in Punjab than in Afghanistan: we have grown up with them, went to school together, work together, inter-marry. exchange cultures and ect... i'm glad to call them my Pakistani brothers and i'm willing to die for them. Pashtuns are an integral part of Punjab and we won't let fake circulating news let it tear our unity apart.

The **** about 'KPK expelling Punjabis and ect' have not been verified and will most likely be announced fake as well.

14% is the %age of soldiers from KPK not Pashtuns. If you are from KPK but a Punjabi, you would be considered Pashtun. Same goes for Punjab, there are around 20-30m Pashtuns in Punjab alone - 7m in Karachi (not including all of Sindh) and 40% of Balochistan is Pashtun. Taking into all of that account i'd say Pashtuns make up at least 30-40% of the military - this is also evident as Pashtun culture is deeply embedded within the army. Pashtun phrases, dances, poems and ect... are well known in the military.

There were hundreds of rallies that attracted up to a million people all over Punjab while you should've seen Punjab during the APS attack - people were literally crying on the streets. There is no such thing as a Punjabi, we don't see ourselves as an ethnic group, being a Punjabi simply means you're from Punjab - if you ask us what a 'Punjabi' is, we'll simply say it's a language.

Pakistan had to close down the border to show the Afghans that we will no longer tolerate terrorism emanating from Afghanistan. Nearly all terrorists involved in these attacks are Afghan nationals and are given a safe haven in Afghanistan.

The Pakistan-Afghan border crossings are the lifeline of Afghanistan accounting for over 50% of their exports and imports, Pakistan has the power to systematically destroy their economy while only losing around 6% of exports.

This Samandri Guy has deep ethnic issues . Keeps on talking about Punjab and Pashtuns all day . He basically wants us to turn into Afghanistan 2.0 where everybody thinks they are superior and came from some martial race . Me being a pashtun from Nowshera never saw any difficulties between Punjabis and Pashtun . Both go along quite well .

Pathans are being oppressed by the Punjabi establishment. They need help. World should help them to get rid from the fascist Punjabi regime.

Frankly speaking I understand Punjabi anxiety to some degree. I mean for the very first time in their miserable history they ruling instead of being ruled. They won't give up easily lol
