Afghanistan is currently facing very difficult times. The number of unemployments rises day by day, corruption has reached a new dimension and the political elite is doing factionalism in all over the country´s corners. On the battlefield, Taliban gaining ground day by day slaughtering civilians in some southern provinces surrounding Kandahar city and Lashkargah. hundreds, if not thousands of ghost schools and ghost pupils were propagated for the last 3 years for these regions while the money was possibly have been stolen by Faruq Wardak and handed to Taliban and Gulbudini terrorists (plus tens of thousands of ghost soldiers and police officers in southern Afghanistan). Universities in Nangarhar and Qandahar turned to become a hub for ideas of islamic extremism and wahabi-salafi ideology than secular teaching like maths, literature, physics or social work. On the battlefield, hundreds of them every week die and rot and the government propagate them everytime as foreign fighters who got killed while they aren´t foreigners but our own children, except a small portion of them.
When Ghani and Atmar decided to take power in the National Unity Government, they were hoping to sandwich the Tajiks politically by using the Uzbek human right abuser and war criminal, Abdulrashid Dostum, and at the same time supporting Pashtun chauvinism and terrorism in the form of Taliban and ISIS against them to weaken this ethnic group and passively as well Dostum´s political figure. While Ghani was and is busy to make deals with Taliban and Hizb-e-Eslami Gulbudin faction to build them up against a new Tajik militia movement in the north, Atmar´s war against Tajik powerbrokers and land lords and some Pashayi commanders and political leaders, is led via ISIS in the eastern regions, giving them space and opportunity to grow and to transfer them afterward to northern Afghanistan, but both, Ghani and Atmar, failed and the only people who are paying now the price for their politics, are Pashtuns and their children. Hundreds of people dying every month in many eastern provinces, particularely in Zabul and Nangarhar province, their houses, lands, wifes, daughters and sons owned by the new Pathan, Panjabi, Kashmiri, Uzbek and Tajik owners from Central Asia and Pakistan with a small influx of Iranians who joined ISIS. The war in the south against Taliban and the drug mafia networks has reached a new when it comes to civilian casualties. Everyday whole families and villages are dying and people are fleeing their home regions. In one day one big family lose 32 members, another day somewhere else one family lose 11 members. The bigger problem than the war itself is the power of the drug networks within Qandahar and Helmand province where the criminal mafia networks are not only trading drugs but also people, specially women, young boys and girls to other provinces or even to other neighbouring countries.
The Panjshiri thugs, being sidelined in the last 2 years and nearly pushed out as political ''owners'' of Kabul city, are regrouping and reforming their network by mobilising 50000 recruites who will not only take over large battaillons of the security forces but also will act as free militia forces in and around Kabul supported and financed by heroin trading in Takhar, Kondoz and Badakhshan to other -stans. There is already clashes between them and Tarakhel tribe in the eastern region of Kabul. The last event just on monday, a short firefight between Tarakheli thugs and a checkpoint force of police men, where the Panjshir thugs intervened and killed three Tarakhelis, one of them already in need of emergency operation in Aliabad hospital while on his way there from Hudkhel area in rush. The situation resulted in the burning of three police vehicles by Tarakheli criminals.
As if these are not enough, Dostum and his 3000 strong militia of fanatic hooligans already threatend Ghani to repeat with him the same scenario as he have done with Najibullah Ahmadzai, the former soviet marionette, who dared to betray Dostum by sidelining him or even ousting him from power. In an offical TV speech, Dostum cleared his position and directed his sharp words to Ghani and said that it is fantasy and just a dream if he thinks he can take the role of the Vice Presidency from him. He called Ghani in a previous phone strife a jackass with foreign roots and no power and no allies. However, security forces surrounded for the last 2 days Dostum´s house and ousted his employees from their office in Sherpoor area of Kabul and took today morning in a fast operation 7 of his bodyguards who were are accused of having raped Turkmen leader Eishi to the national court and afterward to the investigative (jail).
From a political and military point of view, Dostum and his militia are ousted from his home province by Taliban and by the regional competition with Hizb-e-Jamiat-e-Eslami Afghanistan' militias and local forces moving freely and actively in Jowzjan and Faryab province, financed and supported by Balkh governeur Atta Noor. In the past weeks several clashes between Junbish-e-Mili militias and Hizb-e-Jamiat militias were reported. Faryab province seems being no more safe for ordinary civilians. It seems that some forces of Taliban or local forces of Turkmen and Pashtuns, labled as Taliban, are cooperating supportive with forces of Jamiat in these two province in the political and ethnical competition with Uzbeks, feeling sidelined and oppressed as independent ethnics by Junbish-e-Mili.
Another big political problem for Ghani and his heavily dominated Hizb-e-Eslami Gulbudini team is the newly appointed and powerful governeur of Balkh province, Noor Atta. Atta, the executive chief of Hizb-e-Jamiat-Eslami Afghanistan, had for the last three months several secret meetings with Ghani and the Presidential Palace. One of his aims was to play more role in the national politics with Jamiat party having half of the power, legitimizing Abdullah´s role as Prime Minister, owning half of all diplomats, controlling and managing directly 13-15 provinces and appointing all the governeurs and government employees and some more points. In return, it was not officially mentioned but spoken around, that Atta would step down from his position as governeur of Balkh but yesterday he was again announced by Ghani and the Presidential Palace as the old and new governeur of Balkh, possibly because of Dostum´s role and trouble makings in the last weeks, to have Atta as an important backer and supporter if the situation should escalate in Kabul. Of course this is a big and thin thorn in the eyes of the Gulbudinis who wants to see their most powerful man, Juma Khan Hamdard, as governeur of Balkh province (''native homeland of Hamdard but is not allowed to enter) to control Kondoz (''native'' homeland of Gulbudin) as well from there. Their most fear is that Atta will start another wave of secret assassination of Gulbudinis in Kondoz as well as he had started in the previous years in Balkh province, forcing the party to obey to him and cooperate with him and of course to stop the foreign support Atta now enjoys from western diplomats and countries, who see in him a genius diplomat and business man than a former highschool teacher and a Jihadi commander. Another point for Gulbudinis would be third-term appointment of Atta as governeur of Balkh could wipe out the whole Gulbudini forces from Baghlan province where they have already lost between 4000 to 6000 men in the last 5 years in battles against Andarabis and Taliban, not to mention the cruelty have taken place against civilian population in several districs and areas of Baghlan province, particularely in Baghlan Jadid and in Dahana-i-Ghuri.
The de facto Prime Minister, Abdullah Abdullah and his appointed foreign minister, including the vast of the Panjshiri network, are pushing hard on a political system change from centralisation to decentralisation and they have already announced in their today´s audience speech that they are willing and going to change the system no matter what comes. If they are forced to sacrify again themselves they would be ready to sacrifice themselves again to get their goal. It is said that between Ghani and Rabbani there is a big tension and it even escalated physically between both opponents. Rabbani accused Ghani of trying to become a dictator and fascistic despot and he won´t step anymore an inch for the ''fake'' national unity of the Presidential Palace. He, like Dostum, called Ghani a 'donkey' without allies and legitimation to be president of the country.
In the last view days several documents appeared showing that some circles within the Ministry of Defense and Interior have sold thousands of weapons to Taliban and related groups. In Baghlan province 7 police officers were caught red-handed transporting 7000 bullets to hand them to the Taliban and it was unvailed that the last 2 years more than 80,000 ammunition and 2500 weapons were sold to Taliban fighters in Baghlan province. At the same time the security forces in the northern regions, who are by unknown reasons controlled by Atmar, kept in a defensive statue while in southern Afghanistan the soldiers and police forces are running out of food, ammunition, oil and heavy weapons.
