I think I made a similar thread about 2 years back, but why in the world no one talks about their suffering? hundreds of them get killed at the hands of Burnamese army daily
Rohingyas are descended from Bengali immigrants who started the whole violence in Myanmar. I don't agree with the people that are killing innocent Rohingyas, but the Rohingya community are in the position they are in because they tried to separate land from Myanmar (despite being colonial era migrants) and killing many native Burmese in the process. When they were given weapons during WW2 to fight the Japanese, they started killing Burmese people. This solution could be easily solved if Bangladesh took back the Rohingyas but Bangladesh has an overpopulation issue themselves so they will only take a few migrants.
The Burmese army is not killing them. Do a little research on the topic yourself. The feud is Rakhines (Burmese subgroup from Rakhine) versus Rohingyas, not Burma versus Rohingyas. Some individuals from the army may have opened fire, but the army is there to try to quell tensions between the two. Burma hasn't given Rohingyas citizenship only because the Rohingyas came in the 19th century and were transported by the British. The issue with the Rohingyas is that they are violent colonial era migrants that refuse to assimilate and want to divide Myanmar. They even tried to make their region part of East Pakistan in 1947. The Camein (Bengali-Burmese mix) and Hui (Chinese) are both Muslim majority ethnic groups in Myanmar that don't generally have an issue. Some crazy Rakhine nutcases were so pissed at the Rohingyas that they tried to turn it into a Pan-Muslim problem, but most Muslims that aren't Rohingyas face no discrimination in Myanmar.

Not sure where your information is from but its very distorted, you are sounding apologetic and oblivious to what is actually happening. Its genocide by the bhuddists and systematic ethnic cleansing.

Wow, what an insightful and detailed response. You debunked all of my points. /s
I admitted that there are a lot of innocent Rohingyas being persecuted by Rakhines, which is unfortunate. I was just talking about the root of the conflict and how it all started.
