  • A sincere message to all Afghans and Pakistanis

The Afghan people developed a close and brotherly bond with their Pakistani brethren nearly four decades ago, when Soviet troops entered Afghanistan and the country plunged into the flames of war.Millions of Afghans crossed into neighbouring Pakistan where they were welcomed with hospitality. To cut a long story short, the Afghan people(not the government) have enjoyed very good relations with Pakistan.I remember growing up and then even as an adult , there would be so many Afghans around and we never felt as if they were outsiders. It brought back memories of the Ansar and Muhajireen of the early Islamic period.
In the last couple of years, things have taken an ugly turn.Hatred and differences are rising by the day. What is happening on this forum is reflective of the bigger picture.I don't want to go into the details of that.

I just want to make a request to all Afghans and Pakistanis:

That fighting one another will not do any of us any good.So starting on this forum ,lets all make an effort to avoid all sorts of indecent and provocative speech and try to forge better relations with each other.Even if the atmosphere out in the real world is different, but lets make this forum a friendly and peaceful platform to engage in fruitful and healthy discussions .
I am willing to delete all posts I have made(which are very few by the way) which may have caused offence to my Afghan brothers and sisters.

And I would like to remind every Afghan out there that he who claims to love his country or its people but fails to protect them or their rights, fiercely, is not only a coward but also a man of no dignity.

Kindness, love and respect ought to be expressed or extended where it's due or needed, not in a some random thread in a meaningless form when one gets tired of drowning in guilt, after going on a two week long tirade where he has insulted every Afghan he has come across, minus the one supporting his political agendas by kissing his ass while patting him in the back.

I beg to differ. Neither did I go on a 'two week long tirade' and neither did I drown in guilt. I responded harshly when Firdousi crossed all limits by actually celebrating the deaths of innocent Pakistani civilians.

Being a retired soldier , I felt that my behaviour reflected badly on my profession as well as the institution I served, because acting tough on an online forum is indeed an unmanly and cowardly thing to do.A soldier fights his adversary face to face.(and I am NOT implying that anyone here is my enemy).

Secondly , even on a personal level I am not in favour of the hatred between the two countries. That was my inspiration for this thread.

Lastly, I strongly condemn what is going on in the photos that you have posted.Violence and ill-treatment of Afghans in Pakistan is cruel and unjustified and does not solve any issue in any way whatsoever.I have expressed my feelings regarding this earlier also.Unfortunately,I have no control over this matter so I cannot be held responsible for it,and it seems as if you are trying to show that I am somehow behind the torture of those Afghans in the photos you posted.

Stop emotionally assaulting our people. You can't smash anyone's head here so you use emotions against them. Shoo. Off with you. .

Emotional assault? I had heard of emotional blackmail, but this is new terminology.
I am not emotionally blackmailing/assaulting anyone.
You, DZJ , appear to be one angry young lady.
I wonder how your family must be putting up with you.
          I salute their patience.

Well if you must, you can put your useless, twiglike, pakistani legs to use by saluting them for giving birth to a daughter like me. Make that a double salut while you are at it. Beghairat.

The problem with the animosity is that many times it rings the tune of war drums. Beating the war drums of Afg vs Pak is very counter productive, and will just result in Pashtun loss of life.

I don't like this because this hurts my racial narcissism. Therefore, cease and desist with such ideas. Instead, discuss ways we may help me be more superior... and if, in the process, you gain... well I don't give a sh*t, I guess you can have some crumbs. *shrug*

Hissing snakes, talking about loyalty and love. How fascinating.

Hold your horses. I have never mocked their death. It was an horrendous and evil terrorist attack. What I said is Pakistanis are st*pid people. You have been brainwashed to the highest level. Now anything your corrupt says to you you believe it no matter how irrational and baseless it is.

BTW well said. We should try to get along. Just hand over to us the leaders of the Haqqani Network as gesture of good will. You will see how Afghanistan will hand over Fazlo too. We tried once, you let us down. Now is up to you guys.

Your attitude in that post did not go a long way in showing that you condemned that attack.Anyway, lets just let go of that.
As far as handing over Haqqani is concerned, I doubt Pak will hand him over because then they'll lose their 'strategic assets' in Afg.
The question is not just about getting hold of the TTP guys living in Afg, it is actually a much bigger picture.
Then there is another debate, which I don't want to start, about whether Haqqani and co are actually killing civilians in Afg.You have to keep in mind that Pak has no love lost for the current Afg govt and army, and many consider the struggle of Haqqani as valid against the invaders and the 'puppet' govt.

Pakistan and Afghanistan are at war. Perhaps not officially but its pretty obvious we both are fighting each other through proxy forces. If you guys are not willing to hand over your good terrorists, don't expect us to hand over the bad terrorists. This is a two-way street: you consider our government puppet? Great. We consider your government kaffir and brit-made. So needs to be defeated.

Pak-Afg conflict was started by Afghanistan over that st*pid Pashtunistan issue. I give you that. But this current proxy war is all your fault.

Regarding those died few days ago I just don't care. Under normal circumstances I would seriously regret it. But right now I hate so much, so deeply what Pakistan represents that I don't give a f*ck when 100 Pakistanis get butchered.
