Following a week of deadly terrorist attacks in the country in which over 100 people were killed, the Pakistan army on Friday destroyed four militant hideouts across the Afghan border.
Pakistan forces attacked the alleged training camp of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar – an offshoot of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan – located near the Pak-Afghan border and reportedly destroyed the compound and four other hideouts of suspected terrorists.
The reports said that the army targeted Jamaat-ul-Ahrar sanctuaries across the border of Khyber and Mohmand tribal agencies, including the training camp of JuA’s commander Adil Bacha.

Nearly a dozen hideouts and training camps of terrorist groups have been destroyed in two days of artillery shelling by Pakistani military, Afghan sources confirmed on Saturday. The confirmation came hours after Kabul summoned Pakistan’s ambassador to lodge a protest over what it called ‘cross-border rocket firing’.
A day earlier sources said that four camps and training compounds of the outlawed Jamaatul Ahrar terrorist group had been decimated in the areas opposite Mohmand and Khyber agencies.
