Your going off the tangent. Your response has nothing to do with what I said. Your going off in a different direction that has nothing to do with the original claim.

But the situation is not as black and white and simple as you would like to think. It is much more complex where all these groups collude with one another to reach their own seperate objectives.

Talibs capture foreigners and let them stay in their guest rooms, feed them and play host to them for years under the name of hospitality but don't hesitate from slaughtering ten year olds or people of their own land for being "spies".
The respect that you extend to these foreigners or their women, why can't you extend that kindness or respect to your own people too??.
Like always your statements are as moronic as ever. You cant blame all the criminal elements that exist on the taliban. There is no central authority on the insurgency. The situation is chaotic because your heros Karzai and ghani are unable to bring any security to the country. Why cant the governement protect the ten year olds, why cant the government not bring those killers to justice. Why is the government employing pedophile generals and pedophile ministers. Why would anyone in their right mind protect such a government:

that guy in the pakol is your hero the interior minister:

I guess you should blame that on the taliban as well or maybe blame it on pakistan. Go look in the mirror and you will see whose fault it it.

It's not everyday that I am called a moron by some idiot who at his 30 plus years of life, has not learnt the difference between "your" and "you're" so I am going to amuse myself further by requesting that you educate me as to why Afghan women pursuing a decent living are shot dead on the streets of their country they call their homeland while *****s who have spent their entire lives in bikinies in the west or fornicating with random strangers, are treated like angels sent down from their heavens.

Tell me, o wise one. Why is that?? Why upon completing their education, our youngsters are picked up from their homes and hanged in broad daylight, while accused of being spies?? Why are our illiterates not spies?? Why is it always someone who has acquired an exceptional level of education in comparison to the rest of ****s around him??

You were born to a slave, you will die a alive. And he did not give enough of a rat's ass to give your education importance enough to teach you basic grammar. Because *******s like you who are raised in haram, will never need education to feed them. You are the disease of every society that you become a part of. You are living under the mercy of Donald trump, the man in charge bombing Afghan villages right now while advocating for Taliban, the individuals he claims to be targeting.
But I am the moron. Because I "constantly" remind everyone of how your heros hang 12 year olds and Afghan university graduates for being "spies" to the kufaar. The kufaar that you live amongst and worship in your guest houses.

You belong to a mentality where a father ties a bomb around his 12 year old child and sends him off to detonate it and announce what is it that his father believes in. How long do you think your type will last through out the history of time??

                    Ghula,
The answer is in the post. The responsibility for the peoples safety is the Gov and if its an occupied country, then its the occupiers responsibility. But according to all reports, the gov is in collusion with the occupier to empower thugs and pedophiles:

I guess the NYT forgot to mention that the ISI told the US army to empower pedophiles.

I completely disagree with the idea that is being propagated here that the people who are attacking Pakistan today are the ones whom Pakistan used for its own interest(strategic depth) in the past.

Why would ISI tell the U.S to empower the bacha baaz /pedophile Afghan army??The Afghan army and govt are ISI's biggest enemies.

My observation might be incorrect, but I feel that many Afghans today have a preference for Dr Najib and his communists, and feel that the mujahideen of the 80s who combated the Soviets and Communists were on the wrong.
This is surprising , because the 2 million civilian deaths in the 80s war were due to Soviet forces, and not the mujahideen. In fact , the mujahideen consisted of the Afghan civilian population.

I am often reminded of that but to be completely truthful about it, I don't agree with it. The beauty of a belief system lays in the vision of its leader. He makes it beautiful or despicable. All the genocides committed by the leaders of communist societies through out history and current time, indicates that.
Besides, what have the communists of Afghanistan managed to achieve after the assassination of dr najib? If they were competent enough, this disease named talon would have been eradicated within two years rather than escalating over three decades.
I believe in his vision, but I don't care much for communism.

When it comes to the construction of a an able and independent society, civilian loss is not the worst thing that could happen. If number of heads is all we are going to talk about rather than how many schools or hospitals existed back then or what the quality of life was for an individual during the 80s in comparison to now, how advanced we were as a society, then let's do that only.
In ten years and according to your sources, two million people were killed. How many have been killed since then?? Where are we as a society today?? Do we have more hospitals or educational institutes today than we had in the 80s or before that?? Where will we be in 20 years from now?? Has all the resistance, all ye efforts put towards getting rid of that system paid off?? Has it made Afghanistan a better place or a worse one??

So we have more people, starving or dying of diseases. A great population that is incapable of anything. A large populated society that is in great decline, socially, economically and in every other possible. You call that peace and success??

What do you do with a large of heads in a society that are good for nothing?? Great intellectuals have willingly put their lives at steak for the sake of advancement in society. They knew their worth but they also knew the value of their beliefs and how important it was for them to fight for it. What are we fighting for now??
Quality matters, not quantity. And a person who can tell the difference between raising chickens and fixing a society ****ed beyond measure, is well aware of that.

I get what you are trying to say,but I think you didn't understand my point completely.
What I mean to say is that , thirty years ago , the communists and soviets were the villains.I don't think Najib was a popular figure back then. Now he is popular among many Afghans especially the young generation .(many of whom were not even born when he ruled). Its probably because we tend to think that the current situation is bad and the past is good.(probably part of human nature)
You are also trying to paint the picture that Afghanistan is worse off in every aspect today than it was in 80s.Which is far from reality. In 80s the whole country was engulfed in a vicious war(except Kabul), there was virtually no concept of education, health care etc.
Now the war is on a very limited scale, under supervision of western forces and Afghan govt the development works are carried out in nearly the entire country.
The casualties in the current war(after 2001) are much lower than in the Soviet war of the 80s.
