@Karachi, legitimate qualms against pak are not even things we'll disagree with. It's a sh*tty third world country. But this thing you do where you blame everything on Pakistan, with nothing more than a 1 liner, is counter productive.
I blame everything on the (Jahalat and Extremism) of Pakistanis, especially Panjus, this has destroyed their own country and region itself

also you are very pro pak, you lick their feets all the time

Muhajirs don't do that at all then? They don't throw acid on their women? They don't refuse to get out of their bastis and integrate? The only place in Pakistan that's refusing to integrate for no good reason has been MQM's Karachi.

Everybody knows his name. That doesn't mean everyone has to like him.

We also have a transgender woman as a TV host. (Begum Ali Nawazish) Can that happen in the 'liberal' Gulf?

who are you fooling you moron, the seculars in Pakistan are hiding and prominent ones take huge security with them, most of them know they might be killed
That's because security is tight in Pakistan. Also, extremist outfits operate with relative ease.

Regardless of all these troubles, I'm still confused as to why you'd think Pakistan is less liberal than the Gulf. Maybe we're not as liberal as Lebanon or Morocco, or Uzbekistan. But we are, out of the three most powerful Muslim countries in the world, one of the most liberal, the other being Turkey.

No way this is a regular occurence, I dont even remember the incident you are talking about. Punjabis are known for honor killings, rapes, being jahil etc....

Begum Nawazish is only there, because there are so many millions of transgenders in Pakistan

Like Afghan democracy is some kind of success story.

Fat **** sitting in Canada, spewing nonsense he doesn't know, tells Pakistanis they are Jaahil. Why are you using the Arabic word for ignorance if you're such a proud 'Indian'? Use the Sanskrit word lol
Only a mentally challenged individual would use someone else's shortcomings to justify his own. This is not third grade that we brag about whose toy is better than the other's. Afghanistan's failed democracy is a totally different subject. Let's deal with the matter at hand, first before we get on with the next one.

Look, I am an objective guy. The glass isn't half full, or half empty. The glass is 50% H2O and 50% air.

For me, I have skin in the game in Pakistan. To a certain extent, this is a tie that's bound to me.

Having said that, Pakistan is a ****ty third world country. It's also been bad to my people, has a corrupt government that has a bias in support of 1 ethnicity at the expense of others, and has been the cause of many a strife. I am a bit of a racial narcissist, so these things do matter to me. However, there are also some good things. It's got it's good and bad. Not once did I deny/defend what has been done. I acknowledge the many bad that Pakistan does, but also acknowledge whatever good (i.e. whatever I've gained) as well. It's not as black and white as you make it sound.

              That is all.

I'd like to know what the definition of 'most Muslim countries are' a list would be helpful.

Furthermore the video is chopped and edited, tailor made to be biased, put the whole debate up if your balanced instead of cherry picked answers and statements, the guy sitting opposite him answered all his points but is clearly dubbed out.

I was simply responding, you said Pakistan isn't more liberal than anything, I said the obvious answer: Afghanistan.

whatever smallest good in Pakistan there is, is because of the Indian influence, whatever is left of it. Pakistan is a fake nation, is there any other nation like that in the world, where people have completely lost their identity and roots? I mean most pakistanis deny they have anything to do with India, many will say they were never part of India, you are one them, at least for you it may be true, since you are pathan (maybe), but a punjabi/sindhi denying this is pure idiotic

Idiot, if Pakistan is so liberal, why did it separate from India, what was the need to divide same people, for example Punjabis on both sides? killing millions, who are you fooling Idiot, Pakistan was made purely because of Islam, muslims did not want to live with non muslims, this is why they asked British to create a separate state

Separating from India had as little to do with liberal or conservatism as me washing my hair in the shower. That was a colonial issue. There are Indians and Pakistanis who both agree that this was a huge mistake, and it should never have happened. Similarly there are lots of Pakistanis who'll say, thank god we're not with India, look at what's going on with Muslims under Modi. You'll also find stupid Indians saying thank god Pakistanis aren't with us, imagine how backward we'd be under their Islamic rule.

There are stupid people on both sides. Those are stupid people who don't want us to be together.

My qualm with you is why you're so focused on Punjabis in particular. Muhajirs are the ones who created Pakistan. Your forefathers proposed the idea of Pakistan, and Mohammad Iqbal, may have or may have not been sympathetic to your idea. But at the end of the day, it wasn't our idea. Punjab's solution was not separation. We feel much more pain than you lot do when we see Sikhs or Hindus on the other side of the border, separated for no reason. For ****s sake, it wasn't your provinces that experienced torture, rape and loot from Sikh/Muslim militias. We live with that. Whatever the (Punjabi) establishment of Pakistan does, I don't support it, I've already said that before. I stand with other ethnic groups before I stand with my own, because we're a majority.
