      RIP

Lashkar e Jhangavi has taken the credit for it.

Pakistani state thinks it can nurture and use these extremist groups for its own interests but little do they realize that Pakistan won't be safe from these idiots. Its time to stop playing with fire. Its mostly Pashtuns who keep suffering because of such policies. Pashtuns should not tolerate such blatant disregard for the value of their lives. Karma is a b!tch as they say, they will pay for it.

While it is true that Pakistan nurtures militant groups , it has never used sectarian groups for strategic depth. If you look at the history of such groups, they never enjoyed friendly relations with the state/establishment except for the fact that the state may have been slow to take action against such sectarian outfits due to not considering them a serious threat. Now the violent sectarian groups are on the hit list of Pakistani LEAs.

It would be a good idea if Pakistan takes some resposibility from time to time rather than blaming Afghan refugees and evil hindus to hide behind own flawed policies.

What is the basis of your claim? Pakistani newspaper Dawn says it was done by Lashkar e Jhangavi.

In a text message sent to journalists, the proscribed Lashkar-i-Jhangvi al-Alami claimed that it, along with Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) splinter Shehryar Mehsud group carried out the attack. However, the Shehryar Mehsud group did not independently claim the bombing.
In December, 2015 a similar blast in a makeshift market in Parachinar had killed 25 people. Two militant groups, Lashkar-i-Jhangvi Al Alami and Ansarul Mujahideen based in South Waziristan Agency, had claimed responsibility for that blast.

My point is, when you nurture extremist groups, you are digging your own grave because these groups can turn on you if you don't fig their narrow definition the good side and the bad. What is the gaurantee these groups won't turn sectarian? Pakistani establishment thinks it can control such groups and make distinction between good terrorists and bad terrorists but that won't last long. For example, they might promote anti Hazara agenda amongst a terror group because they are Shia fight Taliban, eventually these groups will realise there are more Shias in Pakistan and they might be an easier target so why not kill them instead? By that time they might be so blinded by their own righteousness that they wont make distinctions between civilians and enemy soldiers. Once you open Pandoras box for short term gains, be prepared for the consequences in the long run. Afghan governement is also playing this game now with support of certain elements of TTP and they will pay the price as well.

OK, TTP, LEJ,LET. Same sh!t different names. The point is that Pakistan needs to realize that nurturing such groups while at the same time banning and pretending to fight against them for American aid is not a good choice. Afghanistan is now guilty of the same thing so please don't turn this into Afghanistan vs Pakistan issue. The fact is that supporting these Jihadi groups in Kashmir and other places is not the solution. People should listen to Imran Khan, that man is probably the best chance our region has to get out of this mess created in the aftermath of Soviet war. Imran Khan wants to negotiate with India and Afghanistan to find solutions and not use proxy Jihadi groups. He knows that policy is counter productive.
