Gohar Ayub stressed on the point that he is just a 'Hazarewal'......Two of the Hindko districts are named after Sikh invaders, Hari Singh and Man Singh. Thats not a Pashtun characteristic.
Hindko people are very seeda sadha. Punjabis are as vulgar as it gets. In terms of looks, they don't look like typical punjabis. They are very much pakistan patriots.

They look extremely soft and innocent. Other than language, there is little merit to them joining punjab. They may not know this though... which is why they run the risk of making a stupid decision.

They are definitely different from people of Central Punjab of Pakistan and Indian Punjab, but they are close to Potoharis and Paharis, even looks-wise. The closest being people of adjacent areas of Punjab like those of Murree (Tehsil of Pindi) and Hasan Abdal (Tehsil of Attock). From what i have observed , they get along well with people of Punjab and have issues with attitude of people of Peshawar valley.

The women of Hazara properly cover themselves , many wear niqab like women of Swabi and Mardan and their "chunai" or chadar (dupatta) is also like those of women of Peshawar valley.Their head and their breasts are properly covered even if they are not wearing burqa.....these are obviously some of the cultural influences of Pashtuns on them. But overall they would be happy in Punjab, while they protest against "Pashunfication' of their region.

They need to be assimilated with rest of the country to end this misery .
As if feudalism and wadera system of Punjab and Sindh are compatible with 21st century. As if Honour killings do not happen in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and KP. As if interior Sindh, Cholistan, South Punjab and Balochistan's villages are role models of education , literacy and enlightenment.......as if poverty is eradicated from Punjab, Interior Sindh, Balochistan, GB and KP.

Protests are minimal/non-existent. It happened right after the name change. They seem content.

I have relatives that are mixed in with hindkowan. They would consider the word punjabi an insult lol. That cultural influence by Pashtuns has also made its way there.

They don't need to split. In the worst case scenario, Haripur can split. Haripur sucks...like Murree. Murree has punjabi infestation. When you enter it, it's got the naali smell.

Are you in your senses comparing Punjab , Sindh and GB to FATA ? Fata is like Somalia of Pakistan . There is nothing good about the place for obvious reasons . Name me one positive thing that tribal culture has brought upon FATA ? Nothing . The sooner it assimilates in KP the better . You maybe fond of tribal culture because it keeps your women from demanding their basic rights

Highest rate of honor killings are actually in rural punjab, followed by second place interior sindh.

Thats because of 150 million population of both the provinces . Its quite common to see women outside in rural sindh and Punjab . Can you say the same for FATA ?

                  Probably.

What's your definition of "quiet common"? 8 men to 2 women?

In FATA seeing a women outside might be equal to seeing eid ka chand . Even in deserts of thar and cholistan women can be seen on long walks fetching for water . Tribal culture in FATA by nature is quite rigid to women .

So you want to see women?

Women/girls of tribal areas also fetch water from streams and springs, and not in Burqa. Ever heard of term "Da gudar ghara"?. Difference between them and your Punjab would be , that a tharrki Punjabi like you wont be allowed to stalk girls fetching water. You being an Islamabadi/Punjabi, are unfamiliar with our ways and village life. The women folk of FATA within the village or its section, do not wear Burqa ,as all of them are related to each other...Outsiders are of course are not allowed to roam around without escort/reference. Literacy rate (including female education) should be increased in FATA, the area is left backward by Pakistani state on purpose. But it doesnt mean your Punjabi culture should replace Pashtun culture.

Your Punjabi women do not observe Pardah at all, they do not even cover themselves with Chadar as instructed in Quran. I hope you are not considering Quran and hadith as "cavemen" mentality (After all you are a brainwashed turd from Beaconhouse)..........Dancing like a monkey to songs of Edward Maya, is not progress and enlightenment.

First of all men like you should not be using Islam as a tool for their own agenda's because it looks hypocrytic . Men like you are the biggest hypocrites in the world where all your islam and ghairat is only for women . You are basically 2nd version of molana sherani of CII . Pardah or no pardah is not your or my business. Everybody is free to follow religion according to his/her own wishes . How many women are working ? How many use contraceptive (usually its 1 women and 8 kids ) , how many are aware of their basic rights , if schools were to open in FATA tommorow how many men will allow their daughters to go study ? Basically people like you treat women as their own property where they can beat/bully her that is why banishing of tribal culture is threatning to you .

Elite donkey Islamabad, Murree etc are best developed maintained cities in Pakistan thanks to punjabis. Maybe you came out of gutter and couldn't tell apart clean air from gutter smell.

Our family personally know hindko people from Abbotabad and I couldn't see any pashto influence on them. Their weddings are similar to punjabis. My mother talk with them in punjabi and they respond in hindko.

I've never seen hindko people talk about separate province in real life, I don't think its one of their main priority. From my experience average native Pakis in which ever province they live are happy with it apart from average muhajir in Karachi. Though hindko leaders always brag about being patriotic Pakistanis by pointing fingers at ANP Bacha khanis.

Murree sucks dude. When you get there, you have to walk up this walkway which smells like naali. You may not have noticed since the entire punjab is a naali.

"Best developed and maintained cities"... rrrrrriight.
