    Don't pull out facts out of your behind . Mumbai's economy is somewhere around $200 billion which is still less than Punjab let alone all of Pakistan .

        Wikipedia?Seriously? I can edit and make Afghanistan$ 400 billion . Learn to give credible sources .

        Maharashtra , The whole state has an economy of $ 224 billion . So Mumbai obviously has less than that .

          Afghanistan belongs with countries like Somalia , Chad , Ethopia , Sudan not India or Pakistan.
          Dude, first world, second world, and third world are somewhat colloquial i.e. they don't necessarily have a universally accepted definition. Just like the term "Middle East". There's no defined boundary for Middle East.

          Generally, First world economies are largely driven by tertiary sector, Second world by secondary sector, and third world by primary sectors.

          The UN definition is based on income. The threshhold is a little over $1,000. Okay, so Afghanistan is $700 per capita, Pakistan is $1,300 per capita, my point was Afg, Pak, Ind, Bang, etc are all "third world" i.e. low income i.e. within the same vicinity. Yes, Pakistan is better off, and yes, they may even be double Afghanistan, but the difference of $6-$700 per capita is not that stark. Percentage-wise it looks high, but you have to see the whole picture, and they're all fairly poor and really they play in a similar ball park.

          Pakistan is in a better position, and I'm glad I hold a Pakistani passport and have assets etc in Pakistan.

            New IMF 2016

            Pakistan = $ 1550
            Afghanistan = $ 527

            That's three times more per average . Worth remembering is that 40 % of our economy is undocumented so the figures are not counted in the Official GDP .

            Credit swiss had published wealth per adult

            Pakistan = $ 4500
            India = $ 4400
            Bangladesh = $ 2200
            Afghanistan = NA

            Then there are more indicators in the category like Undernourished , Literacy rate , Under five mortality , Exports , Agriculture etc .

            Probably 4 or 5 times better off . That is why i say India and Pakistan are not in the same category .

              Can you PM me these reports? I want to see what their measurement methodology is.

              I thought Afg was $670 or something? Unlike you, I don't revel in their misery. Have some racial pride.
