Islam is quite simple, Qurhan chapter 10 verse 99 says that if God wanted he could've easily had everyone on earth have faith- and it is a mockery to force people to believe. But the all religious groups does is force their believes—no matter how f-ed up..thus it isn’t about Islam, it is about control. Just like the US isn't about democracy. The theocracy cares not if its citizens transcendentally are religiously pious and moral. It only cares that they obey it unquestioningly and remain passive. Religion in the theocratic regime is an exploited instrument of control, not a moral guideline. Interesting a lot of supporter of theocracy in this forum bad mouth the progressive or secular people and lebel them as “foreigner” tool of west and… yet never mention how the same mullah and religion serves as tool….specially more Muslims have been killed by Muslims than non-Muslims. When my Pashtun brother goes to Gulf and Saudi Arabia to earn bread he is not treated as brother but like a slave with a much lower status than of a dignified human being. Few months ago a relative of my friend had accident in Saudi Arabia and got his spinal card injured and was hospitalized. But after few days he was expelled because a Saudi patient had arrived and as a rule when an Arab is admitted, a non-Arab must vacate hospital bed or room for him if there is no extra room available in the hospital. The poor guy died in Pushtonkhwa leaving two kids behind. The point is the talk of Muslim brotherhood is just an emotional diarrhea and nothing more than that. During British Raj, there were countless "Pirs",Akhunds, Mullahs Babagaan and Kakagaan in that were in payroll of Firingisj…while we had Mullah Mastan, Haday Mullah, Mullah Mushk-e-Alam, who truly combated the colonialists but there were numerous ,on the other side to mislead the simple Pashtuns to get the Firingi's slavery perpetuated. In recent past we had Mufti Mehmood—Lawrence of Arabia stayed in his home before hiding to Afghanistan to topple Shah Amanullah… but now we have his sons, Mulana Fazlur Rehman, and Lutfur Rehman. During time of Mirwais neka, when he was waging freedom struggle against Safavid empire in Kandahar, he was opposed by mullahs of the time on the "plea" that Jehad could not be conducted against Muslim rulers. Mirwas Neka ,therefore sojourned for Hajj to get Fitwa from the Muftis, which justified war against a cruel and tyrant Muslim ruler of Safavid. When Changez Khan was ransacking the biggest seat of Muslim learning of the time, Baghdad, our mullahs engaged the "faithful" in discussions like clarifying the correct pronunciation of ,"WaLaddwaleen" or "Walazzwaleen". During the Malakand Campaign ,a sect of mullah engaged the Pashtuns in non-sense arguments and "Munaziras",to plead whether Finger was needed to be raised on Qaida, after Kalma-e- Shahadat in "Attaheeyat", while freedom fighters were fighting the battle of their life with the Firingis. History is replete with instances where the majority of mullahs took sides with despotic rulers on one pretext or another for their personal gains. During Ambela Campaign it was rumored by mullahs that since Angraiz were "Ahl-e-Kitab",therefore their killing was "Haraam". The book “Facts are Sacred" amply provides proofs that many notable mullahs of the time, were on the payroll of the British Colonialists.
It is high time we have a partial and unbiased analyze of action and deeds of all groups and movements that have resulted in our land being turned into dog fighting ground.
