The biggest problem here is the fact that Afghans are not welcoming their own people back.. Instead they are spitefully putting rents for accommodation upto 400$ a month. Also as Shamlawar made a thread about afghans returning to Afghanistan are bullied because of the way they speak..these inhospitable things just reaffirm the stereo type of afghans.
I think the process is too quick and the deadline is ridiculous.. People been living there for 30 years, they should atleast make a 5 year plan to relocate the people safely, otherwise what was the point of taking them in as refugees only to return them in the same condition (made to live in tents) It's really a shame people on both sides are making it hard for them. The program is all messed up and needs re-jigging.----------

Who said Afghans are not welcoming? People are specious of Gul khan--Peshawar Fathan--mixture of Hindo who have treated the Afghan refugees really bad---GelamJam, Sakar20, Kabulieee....there is also a valid reason to suspect ISI agent among returning refugees...for make no mistake ISI and Pakistani state is the most notorious and bloody enemy of Afghans.

I have no problem welcoming people back. The ones who seem hell bent on splitting up Pashtuns are people who have minimal relationship with Pashtuns in the first place.Originally posted by Manzareh View PostThe biggest problem here is the fact that Afghans are not welcoming their own people back.. The problem is the people of our region are just very emotionally and psychologically immature, they like dividing people on trife and inconsequential matters.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Why ISI will send spies with refugees? We are talking about Afghanistan here which is ISI backyard and not Israel. Accept them back with dignity and respect even if they speak with Pakistani accent. Most of them have been born in Pakistan, many in Karachi even so don't expect them to speak with Afghani accent. And stop rising rent just to take advantage of poor people returning. Not every afghani majar is rich.Originally posted by Azmal View PostWho said Afghans are not welcoming? I'm fine with them staying, provided it helps promote racial unity/supremacy. If they can ignore the fact that there are 2 countries, and get along as members of the same race, we'll gain as a whole. Right now, the ball is in Pakistan's court.
Realistically, I doubt they'll go back. The border is porous and there's no such thing as welfare, so realistically, if the terrorism stuff can get under control, the problem is essentially solved. I'm of the camp that thinks it's India's hands that have ****ed things up...

The Pakistani guy with Islamabad location, who is a Pashtun working in AVT Khyber, is lying shamelessly........Afghans have always been badly harassed in Peshawar and the current government's police harassed them to new level so that they leave Pakistan quickly.......Young Afghan boys are getting arrested for no reason and are then released after few days, just for harassment.....this has caused the Afghans to seriously consider going back to their country, otherwise they had settled down deeply in Pakistan.Originally posted by Friends of Baloch View Postlol at the pakis in this 'debate'. Every single paki is the same, they are all cheapskates and liars.

Unless Pakistan nationalise Afghan refugees they are better off in Afghanistan for many reasons. From next year Afghans will not be able to even open shop without CNIC. Their children will not get educated in schools, even if they do then jobs will be limited without CNIC. So only option left is working as labour and harassment by police. Pakistani police who is already corrupt usually side with Pakistani nationals even if Afghan refugees are right. I've heard of case where Pakistani murdered Afghan refugee and police didn't register FIR even without taking money.
So those Afghans who somehow got CNIC will stay and rest will likely head back.

Yes we all know and see this. Nothing new for pakis. Both of the pakis on the talk show are digusting liars.Originally posted by Samandri View PostThe Pakistani guy with Islamabad location, who is a Pashtun working in AVT Khyber, is lying shamelessly........
Afghans living in Pakhtunkhwa and Pashtun districts of Balochistan are already living in their own land. Corrupt paki "pathans" are behaving like punjabi brown sahibs by thinking that they are in a better position to Afghan refugees. They are not. Displaced Pashtuns from FATA were treated the same but are supposed to be "nationals" of some Pakiland!
What a disgrace!
