Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech stirs controversy

KARACHI: Bits of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech have been released on social media which stirs controversy across the country.

In the available video clip, the MQM supremo is not only cursing Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif but calling Pakistan a failed state, epicenter of terrorism and worst country on earth.
Altaf Hussain made this live audio-call-speech to its party workers in Karachi who were on a Hunger Strike for last 6 days.
MQM leader not only cursed Pakistan but also asked workers to attack Media Houses which do not broadcast his live video calls from London.
The speech caused huge disrupt and unrest in Karachi. MQM’ provoked workers attacked different Media Houses in Karachi especially ARY News, Neo TV and other media workers.
Following the attack, violence erupted in various parts of metropolitan in which at least one innocent lost his life and many received injuries.
In a late but authoritative response from the state, many senior MQM leaders including Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain, Amir Khan, Dr Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar ul Hasan have been detained from Sindh Rangers.
Media reports also claim that the Party’s headquarter Nine-Zero was also raided by paramilitary forces and at least 6 MQM workers were detained from the spot.
Meanwhile, separate reports claimed that MQM’s official website has been taken down and there are unconfirmed reports that Nine-Zero, MQM headquarter in Karachi, will be sealed soon.

I don't know much about the current political situation in Karachi and the MQM and all that stuff, but isn't the MQM far weaker with even some of the senior leaders of the MQM in Karachi turning against Altaf?

Is it possible that these are Altaf Hussain's last days (politically) ?

How the hell is it possible for him to sit in London and play politics in Pakistan.

Anyway it's suicide bomb by him to explode his own political future. Now he will be labelled anti Pakistan, Raw Agent and everyone will hate him.

I do however agree with every word of his :P
“Pakistan, which plays a key role in Asia, is so famous for treachery that it is said they can get milk from a bull. They have two tongues in one mouth, and two faces on one head so they can speak everybody’s language; they use everybody, deceive everybody.

It's hard do predict what happens

I personally do not like MQM as I have stated here before, however it is also clear that Mustafa Kamal was bought by ISI to go against MQM, it's funny he was willing to die for the party just few years ago and all of a sudden became against it completely, this is politics for you.

MQM no doubt is weaker, a lot perhaps, but will it completely go away? I doubt it, it still has a huge following, the only thing that will happen is new leaders will come in eventually, which was bound to happen anyways.
