Celebrating Independence Day is stupid! It only encourages self deceit
The current government is entirely funded by America and its allies. The current constitution was drafted under a western countries supervision. The current parliament is paid by Americans. The armed forces are trained and equipped by Americans.
Americans can kill, bomb, detain and torture Afghans and get away with it. Our borders are a mockery. Pakistan and Iran are constantly stealing land by pushing forward.
Tens of thousands of innocent Pashtun men are detained without process or trial in prisons created and funded by the Americans. Millions of Afghans are still living as refugees because they can't return back home. They fear persecution and violence.
What's the point of celebrating independence? It's like a pregnant European woman getting married and wearing white clothes on her wedding day to symbolize virginity. It is stupid and it is a lie. It doesn't make any sense and people should stop doing this.
