Pakistanis and Afghans are different looking, everyone knows it, you yourself know it. No point beating this dead horse. Only reason a relation has come to exist is because of the durand line dividing the pathans and baloch (both iranic/aryan groups) into a country in which they have nothing in common with - Pakistan.

About skinetone and appearance:

999/1000 of times someone can guess a pakistani right. Pakis look a little less south asian (Apu) than other indians (being a tad less dark than central/west indians) but you still look visibly Indian/South Asian.
