17-year-old Afghan Refugee 'Pledges' Allegiance to Daesh

In a video released on social media late Tuesday a 17-year-old Afghan refugee pledges allegiance to Daesh and says that he wants to carry out an attack in Germany.

"I am a Daesh fighter and I want to tell you that today I will carry out an attack in Germany. My message to you is that you have killed our innocent civilians, children and women in Afghanistan," the Afghan refugee says in the video while brandishing a knife.

In the video his name appears as Mohammad Riyad. However no official details have been released as to his identity.

On Tuesday, German police shot dead the Afghan refugee after he attacked train passengers with an axe and a knife, seriously wounding four in what one official said was a "probable" Islamist attack.

Several other people were also injured in the assault on a regional train near the southern city of Wuerzburg, police said, adding that the teenager was killed as he tried to flee.

Joachim Herrmann, the interior minister of Bavaria state, said the assailant had arrived as an unaccompanied minor in Germany and had lived at first in a shelter and then more recently with a foster family in nearby Ochsenfurt.

"It is quite probable that this was an Islamist attack," said a ministry spokesman, adding that the assailant had shouted "Allahu akbar" [God is greatest].

However he stressed that the investigation was ongoing and that the teenager appeared to have acted alone.

The attack happened around 9:15 pm local time on the train, which runs between Treuchlingen and Wuerzburg in Bavaria.

An eyewitness who lives next to the railway station told DPA news agency that the train, which had been carrying around 25 people, looked "like a slaughterhouse" with blood covering the floor.

The man, who declined to give his name, said he saw people crawl from the carriage and ask for a first-aid kit as other victims lay on the floor inside.

"The perpetrator was able to leave the train, police left in pursuit and as part of this pursuit, they shot the attacker and killed him," a police spokesman said.

Herrmann later said that the teenager was shot when he attacked police while trying to escape the scene.

A special police force unit happened to be nearby and was able to mobilize quickly, Hermann added.

Four of those injured are members of a family from Hong Kong, authorities in the southern Chinese city said Tuesday, adding the immigration department was providing them with assistance.

Once again a Pashtun is involved in a terrorist act.

Pashtuns got a huge problem when it comes to terrorism and religious fanaticism. I know now all of you guys will start insulting Tajiks and blame this on Pakistan but still does not change the fact about terrorism and Pashtunism: both are two sides of the same coin.

There is a video. Watch it. The guy speaks Pashto. No, he was not a Tajik, nor a Hazara, nor an Uzbek. He was a Pashtun. Like you.

It would be really great to see Pashtuns condemning this and also acknowledging the fact that there is some serious issues among the Pashtun people when it comes to terrorism.

He looked more like a new hybrid paki-punjabi-arab than a real Pashtun. You saw his eyebrows? he had them fixed for the camera? What a faggoot.

If we followed your standards then 99% of Afghan Pashtuns would not be considered "real Pashtuns"

Heck even Yusuf Pashth, who has the last name PASHTUN looks more darker than this guy.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

You change Pashtun/Pashtunism to Islam/Muslim and it sounds like Trumps speech...i don't know why we allow little germs like this flat head in our forum.

Four Pashtuns have commented this thread so far. Lets sum up their views:

                    1) Asif: he might be a Tajik.
                    2) Loy Awghanistan: blame Pakistan.
                    3) Azmal: blame USA.
                    4) Aryana: it doesn't matter, she can't even speak Pashto lol

So, you guys are in denial. Once again I reaffirm myself: Westernization, Persianization and Punjabization of Pashtuns are the only way to stop with Pashtun barbarism. You guys don't want to change? Great. We will force you to change.

Pashtuns had no problem of so called terrorism and fanaticism before the Russian invasion. Can you tell me why suicide bombings, terrorism against civilians wasn't a common occurrence in Pashtun areas before the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and the subsequent turmoil of the last 40 years? You are claiming that that "Pashtunism" if there is such a thing to begin with is terrorism. Can you give me an example from Pashtunwali code of conduct where it says to target innocent civilians or cause terrorism?
If you look at where the mujahideen camps were set up to fight Soviets (even Massoud, Rabbani etc where training there), you will see they were all set up close to Durand Line in Pashtun areas of Pakistan where Jihadi literature was distributed and Osama bin laden and his friends influenced people there. The Haqqani network etc are remanents of that era so its no wonder why these groups still exist in those areas. Pashtun land was used as training camps and a launching pad to defeat Soviets so of course these areas would be the most affected by Salafi/Wahabi Jihadi literature. We Pashtuns are in a way still dealing with the problems created during that area. These same fanatics were called heroes back when they were fighting Soviets but now they are terrorists.

Same goes for ISIS where were they before US/nato invaded iraq ? In my opinion unnecessary invasions and wars which results in mass murders of innocent reults in disability in country and gives rise to organizations like al qaeda not pushtinisim or Islam
